Cancellation policy

TourHero, the retreat host, and the tour operator reserve the right to cancel or reschedule this trip up until January 5, 2025. If the departure is cancelled out of your control, you will be alerted by January 5, 2025 and will receive a full refund.

Welcome to paradise – get settled at the retreat and meet your group

Welcome to your transformative journey in the heart of Costa Rica’s rich and vibrant landscape. As your day begins, you'll arrive at the bustling Juan Santamaría International Airport, where you'll be greeted by the warm tropical air that hints at the adventures to come. Don't worry about the hassles of navigation – our retreat staff has organized a smooth group transfer from the airport to our peaceful sanctuary, the Finca Luna Nueva Lodge. This eco-friendly accommodation, nestled amidst lush greenery of La Fortuna, will be your home for the duration of the retreat.

Once you've settled into your serene surroundings, enjoy a bit of free time to relax, explore, or simply absorb the healing energy of the rainforest around you. As the sun begins to set and the chorus of cicadas begins to play, we'll gather together for our Opening Ceremony. Here, you'll have a chance to meet your fellow retreat participants, creating connections that might just last a lifetime. You'll be guided through a tranquil meditation session, allowing the stresses of everyday life to melt away. This will be followed by a gentle yoga session, with Emily guiding you through a sequence designed to awaken your senses and rekindle your connection with your inner self.

From here, delve into the world of chakras with our enlightening Chakra Class. Discover the inner workings of your energy centers and how they influence your holistic wellbeing. Post exploration, it's time to enjoy a healthy, vibrant lunch, providing another opportunity to sample the rich flavors of Costa Rica’s culinary tradition.

In the afternoon, gather together for an Energy Group Clearing and Healing session. Movement and nature heal the soul – yoga, waterfall hikes, and rest

Embrace the peace and tranquility of our yoga retreat in the heart of Costa Rica, as you begin your day gently with a Yin yoga session. This calming practice taps into your deep connective tissues and encourages greater flexibility and relaxation. Having stretched out the night's stiffness, satisfy your morning hunger with a hearty breakfast full of local flavors and wholesome ingredients.

Post-breakfast, lace up your hiking boots for an excursion to the breathtaking Rio Celeste Waterfall. Allow the beauty of nature to envelop you as you trek through lush landscapes, finally reaching the waterfall's majestic azure waters. Feel your soul resonating with the waterfall's rhythm, a potent reminder of the ever-constant flux and flow of life.

Begin your final full day of the retreat with a Sunrise Power Yoga session. Allow the first light of day to energize your body, fueling it with strength and serenity. Following this invigorating start, replenish your body and mind with a nourishing breakfast, crafted from fresh, local ingredients. With the day in full swing, it's time for Creative Movement, followed by a delightful lunch spread.

In the afternoon, prepare for a journey of the senses during a traditional cacao ceremony. Delve into the sacred history of cacao while experiencing its heart-opening effects in a guided meditation. The ceremony will leave you feeling joyous and connected, ready for some free time to rest, reflect, or explore your surroundings.

As evening approaches, we'll gather for our Closing Ceremony. It's a time to honor the journey you've experienced, the bonds you've made, and the inner growth you've cultivated. Once we've sealed our time together with gratitude, we'll convene for a final communal dinner, once again delighting in the vibrant flavors of Costa Rica. Soak it all in and savor every moment.

Day 5 · March 18, 2025

Fond farewells commence after morning yoga – start the journey home

The final day of our transformative journey has arrived, and we’ll kick it off with Sunrise Power Yoga. As you flow through your final yoga practice, reflect on your personal growth during this retreat, strengthening your resolve to carry these practices into your daily life. Following yoga, replenish your body with a hearty breakfast, the perfect fuel for the journey ahead. From here, you’ll check out and bid farewell to the tranquil sanctuary that has been your home for the duration of the retreat. Our retreat staff will facilitate a smooth group transfer back to Juan Santamaría International Airport, marking the end of our shared journey.

As you embark on your journey home, reflect on the friendships formed, the lessons learned, and the sense of peace and tranquility you've cultivated. Your physical journey may be ending, but your internal journey of mindfulness and self-discovery has only just begun. Safe travels and be well!

    Finca Luna Nueva is located in the heart of the Costa Rican jungle, deemed a recreational paradise and a living classroom for all who visit. The lodge offers delicious ‘farm-to-table’ food, comfortable rooms/suites, and miles of hiking trails through rainforests, farmland, and herbal gardens. Enjoy the views of each from your chosen accommodation, all featuring private decks or wraparound porches. You’ll have everything you need for the perfect experience, including private bathrooms with hot water, linens and towels, and space to rest and relax. The property also features a pool, stunning yoga shala, spa, open-air lounge area, and delicious restaurant. Room type: Family Bungalow. Room configuration: Single beds. First guest to sign up will be upgraded to a king bed in the Family Bungalow, all the other guests will be accommodated in a single bed.
