Day 1
Welcome to Costa Rica! Find your new favorite dish during a hands-on cooking lesson with a local
We’re totally thrilled to have you here in San Jose, the bustling capital city of Costa Rica! First up, there’s no better way to discover a country than through its cuisine, so we hope you’re ready to cook up a storm. Take your culinary skills to the next level and discover delicious Costa Rican cuisine during a fun hands-on cooking lesson! Bound to be filled with tasty moments and plenty of laughter with your host, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity where you can take pointers from a true local. Learn about tasty ingredients used in Costa Rican dishes, discover unique household customs, use new cooking techniques, and prepare a mouthwatering meal to savor alongside your new friends.
Day 2
Head to Turrialba and embark on an epic canyoning and ziplining adventure
Time to get pumped for adventure! After a hearty breakfast, we’re off to Turrialba. You’ll be greeted by spectacular views of Costa Rica’s rural countryside at this charming town surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Central Valley in Cartago Province. In the distance, you’ll be able to spot the active 3,340-meter Turrialba Volcano in all its glory. Turrialba is a hotspot for eco-adventures and we’re kicking off your first day here with an awesome canyoning and ziplining expedition in nearby Calle Chirraca. Our expert guides will walk you through the gear and equipment you’ll be using, and ensure you are given a crash course in the techniques involved when making your way through the canyon. Expect some high-adrenaline moments on this quest through the wilderness: rappel and descend cliffs and waterfalls, zipline across multiple canopy cables, and walk across hanging bridges. If you’re lucky, the native wildlife might come out to keep you company, so keep your eyes peeled!
Day 3
Tackle the mountain biking trails of Pejibaye Valley
Fuel up this morning, you’ll want to have a good breakfast for yet another epic adventure. This time, we’re headed to Pejibaye, located roughly an hour south of Turrialba. An emerging ecotourism hub, the town lies in a valley between the protected forests of Tapanti National Park and the La Marta Wildlife Refuge. We'll hop on our front suspension mountain bikes and zip through the meandering trails of this incredible cloud forest-clad valley. Keep a lookout for incredible animal species — the surrounding area is home to several intriguing creatures like the white-faced capuchin monkey, agouti, and resplendent quetzal. You might even catch a glimpse of a wild ocelot or jaguarundi between the trees. (If participants get tired, a 4x4 support vehicle will be available)
Day 4
Take a thrilling journey down the Pacuare River on an epic rafting adventure
Rise and shine! Today, we’ll be heading back to San Jose, but not before one last exhilarating adventure, so be sure to indulge in a high-energy breakfast this morning. We’ll be stopping at the breathtaking Pacuare River and embark on a splash-tastic rafting expedition down multiple class III and IV rapids. Considered one of the best places in the world for whitewater rafting, this stunning river winds through the heart of Costa Rica’s most verdant jungles and flows right into the Caribbean Sea. You will have the chance to fuel up with some lunch halfway through the activity. At the end of your rafting journey, you’ll be transferred the rest of the way to your accommodation in San Jose.
All aboard — enjoy an epic two-hour party bus tour in San Jose!
You’ll arrive back in San Jose in time to enjoy the evening to the fullest. Time to get serious with the partying! Why hit the clubs when you can roll through San Jose and have your very own party on wheels? Get the music started, bring out the best drinks, and experience San Jose by night with an awesome party bus experience you’ll never forget.
Day 5
Time to bid farewell to Costa Rica
We hope you’ve enjoyed your epic adventure in Costa Rica! After checking out of your accommodation, make your way to the airport in time for your flight back home. Until next time — we hope to see you again soon!

Casa Mu San Jose is a perfect choice for groups. Located in the capital city of San Jose, close to shopping centers and restaurants, this shared house provides simple and comfortable accommodation in the form of bunk bed-style rooms with a large living room for communal group activities and an efficient kitchen. Casa Mu Turrialba (or similar according to availability)
This house is perfect for groups of friends or students looking to access the Turrialba ecotourism hub in Costa Rica’s Central Valley. Located just 15 minutes from Turrialba, guests can easily pay a visit to some of the nearby waterfalls. Casa Mu Turrialba makes a great spot from which to embark on your adventures around the Pacuare Area. Rooms are furnished with bunk beds and there is a large living room and kitchen for communal use.
