Hi! I’m Lynsey—a photographer and creative who finds so much inspiration in exploring new places and connecting with others who are passionate about what they do. I planned this Costa Rica trip as a space for creatives to reset, recharge, and adventure together. It’s about slowing down, sharing experiences, and building community in a beautiful setting. If you're craving something meaningful with like-minded people, I’d love for you to come along!
No two days ever look the same when you’re chasing volcanoes, waterfalls, and Pacific sunsets with your crew. This Costa Rica adventure is built for travelers who crave a mix of adrenaline and downtime, where you can zip-line through rainforest canopies in the morning and float in a pool by evening, trek to hidden waterfalls, and then swap stories over sunset catamaran cruises. Whether you’re here for the wild, the chill, or a little bit of both, this journey is packed with moments that will have you high-fiving your friends and planning your next escape before you’ve even left. For anyone who wants to blend epic nature, real adventure, and the purest “pura vida” vibes, this is the trip that makes every day legendary.
-What’s pura vida, you ask? You’re about to find out! Touch down in Costa Rica and let the adventure begin as you travel from the airport straight into the heart of the country’s adventure capital: La Fortuna. Framed by the iconic silhouette of Arenal Volcano, this region is a playground for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike.
-After settling in, take some time to explore the lush grounds, soak in the natural surroundings, or simply relax and shake off the travel day.
-As the sun sets, gather for a welcome dinner at the resort – your first taste of Costa Rica’s laid-back hospitality and the perfect opportunity to meet your group. Enjoy!
-Fuel up with breakfast before heading into the wild green of the rainforest for a hike to the legendary La Fortuna Waterfall. Managed by the local community through the ADIFORT non-profit, this 70-meter cascade is tucked within a 210-hectare biological reserve that forms part of the Arenal Volcano National Park. The trek down 530 steps is rewarded with panoramic viewpoints and a chance to swim in the crystal-clear Fortuna River, surrounded by the sounds and sights of untouched jungle.
-The adventure continues with a Sky Tram ride, where naturalist guides share stories about the region as you ascend to a platform boasting jaw-dropping views of Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. Snap a photo at the famous ‘La Mano del Arenal’ before gearing up for the Sky Trek zip-line circuit. Soar across seven cables-some stretching up to 750 meters long and 200 meters above the forest floor-for a bird’s-eye view of the treetops, the lake, and the volcano.
-Return to the resort with your adrenaline still pumping and the rest of the day to relax, explore, or relive the morning’s epic moments.
-After breakfast, it’s time to swap volcanoes for beaches as you journey west to Nosara, a laid-back coastal town famed for its surf culture and pristine nature reserves. Nosara’s blend of jungle and ocean draws travelers seeking both adventure and tranquility.
-Once you’ve checked in, the afternoon is yours. Wander the local shops, stroll the sandy paths, or find your favorite hammock spot. This is the place where pura vida isn’t just a saying – it’s the way of life.
-Today is all about freedom and flow. Nosara is a haven for surfers, yogis, and anyone who loves the outdoors. Spend your day catching waves, joining a yoga class overlooking the jungle, or exploring the nearby wildlife refuges where howler monkeys and tropical birds set the soundtrack. If you’re in the mood for something slower, relax on the sun-drenched beaches or wander the town’s vibrant art scene.
-Set out for Samara Beach, where your catamaran adventure begins with a welcome drink and a promise of Pacific wonders. Cruise along the coast with a professional crew, keeping an eye out for dolphins, turtles, and-if the season’s right-even whales.
-The journey includes a stop at Chora Island, a snorkeling hotspot where you can swim among colorful fish and coral.
-Back on board, savor fresh snacks crafted by a local chef and toast to new friends as the sun dips toward the horizon, painting the sky with Guanacaste’s legendary colors.
-Return to Nosara with salty hair, sandy feet, and a camera full of memories.
-Enjoy one last breakfast with your group, soaking in the final views of the Pacific or jungle before your private transfer whisks you back to the airport.
-Whether you’re heading home or on to your next destination, you’ll be leaving with a little more pura vida in your step and stories that will last long after the tan fades. Safe travels!
