Pura Vida Quest: From Jungle Trails to Pacific Tides with Joy

-Welcome to Costa Rica! After landing, you’ll join the group for a scenic van ride through Guanacaste’s golden hills to our charming accommodation.

-Nestled at the edge of Rincón de la Vieja National Park, the eco-lodge is surrounded by dry tropical forest and volcanic landscapes, setting the tone for our wild week ahead.

-Tonight, the evening is yours. Unwind, explore the grounds, or simply soak in the pura vida vibes as you settle in for your first night in Costa Rica.

-Today, we dive straight into adventure with a guided hike on the iconic Las Pailas Trail.

-This 3.5-kilometer loop is famous for its up-close look at the geothermal wonders of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, the largest and most active in Guanacaste.

-As we wander through the dry tropical forest, keep your eyes peeled for monkeys, coatis, and over 300 species of birds. The trail’s highlights are its bubbling mud pots, steaming fumaroles, and mini-geysers, each a reminder of the volcanic power beneath our feet.

-After our hike, we return to the hotel for a well-earned rest and free time to explore or relax.

-Today is all about you! With a full free day, you can explore trails, go tubing in the river, join an archaeology tour, or go on a canopy tour. The region is packed with options, from serene spa experiences to adrenaline-pumping activities, all set against the backdrop of volcanic peaks and lush forests.

-After breakfast and checking out, we trade volcanic vistas for ocean breezes with a scenic drive south to Puerto Carrillo, a hidden gem on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.

-The journey takes us through changing landscapes, from dry forest to rolling hills and finally to palm-fringed beaches.

-Upon arrival, we check in at our laid-back coastal retreat. The rest of the day is yours to relax by the pool, stroll the tranquil beach, or explore the charming town at your own pace.

-Get ready for a day on the water! After a leisurely morning, we’ll set sail on a catamaran for a true “sea-fari,” cruising along the pristine coastline of the Nicoya Peninsula.

-Keep your camera ready for dolphins, sea turtles, and maybe even whales, all while enjoying fresh fruit, cool drinks, and the sun on your face. Whether you’re snorkeling, swimming, or just lounging on deck, this is pura vida at its finest.

-We return to the hotel with salty hair and sun-kissed smiles. The evening is free for you to unwind.

-Savor your last full day in paradise with total freedom — relax on the quiet beaches of Puerto Carrillo, explore local shops, or book an optional adventure like paddleboarding or horseback riding along the sand.

-As the sun sets, we’ll gather for a special farewell dinner at the hotel, celebrating new friendships and epic memories made under the Costa Rican sky.

-After breakfast and check-out, we say goodbye to the coast and transfer back to Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport.
