Hey, I’m Michelle — the traveler and daydreamer behind @mywildflowerdaydreams.

I put this Costa Rica trip together because I’m all about creating experiences that make you feel alive — like dancing barefoot on the beach, hiking through rainforests, and chasing sunsets you’ll remember forever.

The wildest thing I’ve done while traveling? Scuba diving with sharks in Maui — hands down one of the coolest (and most adrenaline-pumping) moments of my life. It taught me that the best memories happen when you lean into a little bit of fear and a lot of trust.

When I travel, I’m all about adventure with a side of chill. Think: jungle hikes, waterfall swims, surfing, slow mornings with coffee, yoga by the ocean, and late-night talks under the stars.

If you're looking for an epic getaway packed with nature, new friends, and once-in-a-lifetime moments — you’re in the right place. Let’s go live our wildflower daydreams in Costa Rica!

Costa Rica > Pacific Pulse: Adventure and Chill in Costa Rica with Michelle

Costa Rica’s Pacific coast is calling with its intoxicating blend of jungle secrets and ocean breezes. Wander through Manuel Antonio’s wildlife-rich trails in the smallest yet one of the most biodiverse national parks, spotting playful monkeys, sloths, and vibrant birds as you hike scenic paths that lead to pristine beaches. Dive deeper into the region’s flavors on a spice garden visit all while soaking in rainforest views and encountering colorful hummingbirds. Paddle through the serene mangroves of Damas Island or kayak and snorkel in the calm waters of Biesanz Bay, where tropical fish and coral await. Enjoy free time to enjoy Manuel Antonio, then unwind on a catamaran sailing tour while watching fiery sunsets melt into the Pacific. Each moment on the trip will be a perfect balance of pulse-raising adventure and peaceful reflection. Let's go!

Details
Day 1 · February 15, 2026
Coastal dreams begin

-Touch down in San Jose, where the buzz of Costa Rica’s vibrant capital greets you, then let the ocean call you south.

-Transfer straight to Manuel Antonio’s jungle-meets-beach paradise, where howler monkeys and scarlet macaws announce your arrival.

-Settle into El Faro Beach Hotel, where palm-fringed hammocks sway in the Pacific breeze.

-At sunset, gather for a welcome dinner of fresh ceviche and gallo pinto under string lights, sharing travel stories as the waves serenade your first night together.

Day 2 · February 16, 2026
Whispers in the jungle

-Wake to the aroma of locally grown coffee and dive into Manuel Antonio National Park’s emerald wonderland.

-Trek beneath cathedral-like strangler figs, spotting sloths sunbathing in canopy gaps and neon-bright poison dart frogs near trickling streams.

-A guided spice garden tour reveals vanilla vines and cinnamon bark’s secrets.

-Return to the hotel and enjoy fresh tropical fruits before cooling off at Playa Espadilla’s turquoise waves.

Day 3 · February 17, 2026
Mangrove mysteries

-Paddle into a labyrinth of emerald tunnels on your Damas Island boat tour, where translucent crabs scale mangrove roots, and Jesus Christ lizards skitter across water surfaces.

-Listen for the splash of caimans sliding off mudbanks and the metallic calls of boat-billed herons.

-Lunch brings river-front views and the best of local flavors, fuel for an afternoon of beachcombing or poolside lounging.

Day 4 · February 18, 2026
Water adventures

-Grab your paddle! Glide across Biesanz Bay’s mirror-calm waters in sea kayaks, then plunge into an underwater world of angelfish and star coral.

-Snorkel beside volcanic rock formations where octopuses hide in crevices, then beach comb for heart-shaped shells as capuchin monkeys chatter in almond trees overhead.

-Tonight’s golden hour? Perfect for sipping guanabana smoothies from a clifftop perch.

Day 5 · February 19, 2026
Choose your own adventure

-Today’s agenda: pure Pura Vida. Enjoy your free time doing what you please. Get a beachside massage while enjoying the rhythm of crashing waves or simply lose hours in a hammock with a novel.

-As twilight paints the sky watermelon pink, gather for a stargazing session. The Milky Way dazzles here, unobscured by city lights, while bioluminescent plankton sometimes mirrors the constellations in the shallows.

Day 6 · February 20, 2026
Sunset catamaran, a perfect ending

-Let the catamaran’s sails catch the winds as you cruise past islands shaped like sleeping dragons.

-Dive off the boat’s netting into bath-warm waters, then toast with passionfruit mojitos as the sun melts into the Pacific.

-Over a farewell dinner, share highlights over coconut-crusted mahi-mahi and one final evening cocktail.

Day 7 · February 21, 2026
Thanks for the memories

-One last breakfast of sweet plantains and café con leche before the transfer back to San Jose.

-Keep your eyes peeled through the van windows as Costa Rica's nature gives you a final “hasta pronto” from the jungle.
