After years of struggling with self-abuse, depression, and countless jobs that didn’t fill her soul, Megan almost gave up on life altogether. She contemplated ending her life many times. She lost her inner spark to the illusion of what society told her was true. That all there was to this world was work, responsibilities, separation, competition, suffering, and unfulfilled dreams. But there was always something in her that made her keep fighting for a brighter future.

In June 2021, she embarked on a spiritual awakening that catapulted her healing and awakened her soul. She realized she forgot who she really was deep within. She forgot how to have fun. She forgot what made her smile and laugh. And that is part of what this retreat is for, it’s to awaken us to that part of us that we forgot!

A journey of self-love and healing empowered Meg to step into her truth. She committed to doing what gave her pleasure in life and through her passion for healing suffering, planning events, and traveling the world, she began to build her soul purpose company, Lavender Awakening. She runs events and programs created to help people build better relationships with themselves, find their inner guru, heal themselves, and recreate themselves to manifest their dream life. And what better way to heal than while you're inspired and having a ton of fun!?

She believes life should be a beautiful experience and shouldn’t be wasted working 24/7, stressed out, and hustling. Meg encourages her fellow travelers to surrender to adventure in this retreat, try things they’ve never done before, do something that scares them but is good for them, and unleash the spark hidden within!
