Details
Day 1 · October 9, 2025
Feel the pulse of Miraflores

-Touch down in Lima, where Spanish colonial grandeur meets modern Peruvian verve.

-Settle into our chic basecamp near Pacific cliffs where paragliders dance on ocean breezes.

-Opt for an introductory city tour through UNESCO-listed Plaza Mayor's baroque cathedral and San Francisco Monastery's bone-lined catacombs, then watch golden hour ignite the malecón's coastal pathway.

Day 2 · October 10, 2025
Culinary traditions

-Dive into Peru's gastronomic soul at a bustling mercado, sampling golden huayro potatoes with sweet chicha morada before mastering ceviche's citrus alchemy.

-In the afternoon, decode the clay pyramids of Huaca Pucllana - a 1,500-year-old ceremonial complex where Lima Culture priests once summoned coastal gods, now surrounded by Miraflores' urban energy.

Day 3 · October 11, 2025
Sacred Valley thrills

-Soar to Cusco's highlands before descending into the Sacred Valley's emerald embrace.

-Rev engines for a dust-kicking ATV ride past Maras' millennia-old salt terraces to Moray's mysterious circular terraces - an Inca agricultural laboratory.

-Recharge with a pachamanca feast cooked in ancestral earth ovens, then salute the Andes with sunset yoga poses.

Day 4 · October 12, 2025
Footsteps of the Incas

-Board the rails to KM 104, stepping onto the legendary Inca Trail where cloud forest orchids frame ancient staircases.

-Trek past Wiñay Huayna's cascading ruins before emerging breathless at Inti Punku (Sun Gate) as Machu Picchu materializes through misty veils - a cinematic preview of tomorrow's wonders.

-In the evening, return to Aguas Calientes, a town at the foothills of the Andes. Freshen up and get rested for the big day tomorrow.

Day 5 · October 13, 2025
First light at the citadel

-Before daybreak, climb to Machu Picchu's guardian stones as alpenglow ignites granite temples.

-Our guide will reveal how 15th-century engineers harmonized celestial patterns with mountain topography before you explore the ruins on your own - perhaps conquering Huayna Picchu's vertigo-inducing staircase for condor's-eye views.

-After our time in the lost city, we'll return to Cusco, reflecting on our profound Machu Picchu experience in the Inca's ancient capital.

Day 6 · October 14, 2025
Wisdom of the locals

-Connect with Amaru Community's Quechua guardians, learning ancient dye techniques using cochineal insects and Andean herbs.

-Watch master weavers 'write' ancestral stories through vibrant textiles, then try your hand at traditional spindle spinning - where every twist honors Pachamama (Mother Earth).

Day 7 · October 15, 2025
Bidding goodbye to Peru's magic

-One final breakfast of quinoa pancakes and coca tea prepares you for the journey home, carrying woven blessings and the echoes of Quechua songs.

-As your plane ascends over the Andes, spot glacial peaks where Inca gods still whisper through the winds.

The best tour company I've used!! I will start by saying that Roberto made this trip a dream come true, and I've never experienced a more organised tour. From the moment I first emailed him to inquire about the tour, to the last taxi journey to the airport for our flight home, my friend and I felt safe and well looked after the whole trip! We travelled to Chile, Bolivia and Peru and every aspect of the trip ran smoothly and if there were any questions, Roberto was only a whatsapp message away! From all the tours I looked at, Peru Inside Out was the most flexible and best value, and I would recommend their tours to anyone without a doubt!

Excellent service – We used Peru InsideOut for a 13 day trip to Peru. Roberto was very professional and helpful from the initial quote request to the last day of the tour. He arranged all the hotels and guided tours very well. No issues at all with airport pickups and drop offs. The guided tours were very good. We met both Roberto and Karla in Arequipa- both are very friendly and nice people to interact with. Someone from his team was in touch with us daily in Peru to make sure things were going well. We had a very enjoyable Peru trip thanks to Peru InsideOut. Roberto is highly recommended!

GREAT SERVICE AND VALUE – We were referred to Peru InsideOut by a friend who had traveled with them. We gave them a list of what we wanted to do (Inca Trail, Cusco, Jungle, Lake Titicaca, Puno, Lima, Sacred Valley, La Paz) and they sent us a few proposed itineraries. They were patient as we had many questions and made a few changes. We ended up booking a 16 day trip. Most of the trip was Private - just the 6 people in our family and a local guide and driver. The local guides were great - especially Huber on the Inca Trail. They gave us a choice of either Basic or Comfort Accommodation - we looked at the accommodation on line and chose the Basic - it was all pretty good. A few of the day tours were group. They were also able to accommodate one person bypassing the Inca Trail - they provided a separate itinerary for those days. We were always able to contact their office as they provided a cell phone and were accessible on whatsapp. We also booked some shore excursions through them as we ended up taking a cruise to get to South America. The shore excursions worked out well. All of the travel with this company was good value and exceeded our expectations.
