If you're sick of the usual holidays, you're going to want to sign up for this one. For six days, we're experiencing Costa Rica the way the locals do. Participate in photoshoots in traditional Costa Rican dresses, hands-on cooking classes where you’ll learn to make authentic dishes from scratch, and guided hikes through lush national parks like Cahuita, spotting sloths, monkeys, and tropical birds along the way. Go on a heart-pumping white water rafting along the Pacuare River, trek up the Arenal 1968 volcano trails, and refreshing dips at the stunning La Fortuna Waterfall. Each day brings a new chance to connect with local culture, snap incredible wildlife shots, and unwind with a group that loves adventure and authentic experiences.

Manzanillo magic wildlife

-Wake up to the sounds of the jungle and a hearty breakfast before setting off on a guided hike through Cahuita National Park. This is your chance to spot sloths, monkeys, and colorful birds in their natural habitat. Perfect for wildlife photography and soaking in the authentic jungle vibe.

La fortuna adventure tradition

-After breakfast and checkout, journey from the Caribbean to the heart of volcano country in La Fortuna.

-Check in at Arenal Oasis Eco Lodge, where nature is right outside your door.

-The highlight? A photography session with a local lady in traditional dress, giving you a chance to capture the beauty and heritage of Costa Rican culture.

-Wrap up the day with a hands-on traditional cooking class at Arenal Vida Campesina, where you’ll learn local recipes and enjoy a delicious dinner made with love.

La fortuna explorations volcano

-Start your day with breakfast and then lace up for a hike through the Arenal 1968 trails, where you’ll get up close with the iconic volcano and its dramatic landscapes.

-Next, cool off with a visit to La Fortuna Waterfall, snapping photos of its cascading beauty and, if you’re up for it, taking a refreshing dip.

Refunds for deposits
We will hold your spot as soon as you put down your deposit. However, if you decide to cancel your trip, we will be unable to refund your deposit.

Refunds for balance payment
If you cancel your trip on or before Aug 22, 2025 at 11:59 PM local time (GMT -6), you will get a refund of the remaining balance. This may or may not include the deposit amount. See deposit refund section above.

If you cancel your trip from Aug 23, 2025 at 12:00 AM local time (GMT -6) onwards, no refunds will be issued.
