Trek, Paddle, and Roam Coast to Coast in Costa Rica with Lavdi

-Welcome to Costa Rica! After touching down at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO), your adventure begins. The group will be whisked away to your home base via group transfer as we get to know one another for the first time.

-Check in and take a deep breath – it’s all about settling in and getting ready to kick off a week of non-stop fun.

-Once you’ve settled in, the rest of the night is yours for relaxation or exploration. Enjoy!

-Say so long to the capital as we hit the road toward Puerto Viejo de Talamanca.

-Our first adventure is an adrenaline-pumping whitewater rafting session on the Pacuare River. With its thrilling rapids and breathtaking jungle scenery, this is one for the books. With dynamic and serene spots, you’ll see the full breadth of this river’s gorgeous ecosystem.

-Afterward, enjoy a refreshing cold lunch by the river before we head over to our next stay.

-Once you’ve checked in and dropped your bags, the night is yours to enjoy however you like – let the tropical vibes guide you!

-Dive into the wild beauty of Costa Rica with a guided hike through Cahuita National Park. This place is like stepping into a nature documentary (David Attenborough narration not included), with lush rainforests, exotic wildlife, and pristine beaches. Your guide will share all the insider knowledge about the local flora and fauna, making every step more exciting.

-After a tasty lunch at the park, we’ll head back to the hotel to relax and recharge.

-The evening is yours to chill, explore more of the area, or just vibe out on the beach. Adventure continues tomorrow!

-Following breakfast, we’ll head to La Fortuna, where the majestic Arenal Volcano awaits.

-Check into the hotel and take the afternoon at your own pace – exploration, relaxation, or a little bit of both.

-This evening, we’re heading to Arenal Vida Campesina for a tour of the gardens and traditional cooking class. Get ready to learn how to whip up some traditional Costa Rican dishes and enjoy the fruits of your labor for dinner.

-Once you’ve satisfied your taste buds, it’s back to the hotel for a well-deserved rest before tomorrow’s continued adventures.

-Pack up and get ready for a road trip to the Pacific coast. En route, we’ll stop for an exciting hike along the Arenal 1968 Lava Trails, where you’ll get up close to the remnants of one of the most famous volcanic eruptions in Costa Rica’s history. The trails offer incredible views of Arenal Volcano.

-After the hike, we’ll continue our journey to the vibrant beach town of Tamarindo. Once we arrive, you’ll check into our hotel, where the surf, sand, and sunset await you. Relax and soak in the tropical vibes.

-Kick off the day with a leisurely breakfast, then take the morning to explore Tamarindo at your own pace.

-In the afternoon, get ready for a sunset catamaran sailing tour and snorkeling in some of Costa Rica’s clearest waters. Keep an eye out for dolphins, sea turtles, and vibrant marine life as you glide across the ocean. A refreshing cold lunch is served on board, plus delicious bevs and an unforgettable sunset view that is sure to captivate.

-After the sail, head back to the hotel to unwind, then spend the rest of the evening however you like. The adventure continues!

-Say so-long to the Pacific breeze as we pack up and head back to the capital city. The drive is a perfect opportunity to reflect on all the amazing experiences so far – plus, the views are spectacular!

-Upon arrival, we’ll take you to a scenic lookout point for a farewell dinner with epic views of the city and surrounding mountains. It’s a chance to toast to an unforgettable trip and all the memories made along the way.

-Following dinner, hit the hotel for check in and prepare for one final night here in Costa Rica. Venture out to some newfound favorites or uncover something new one last time – it’s up to you!

-One last breakfast, then it’s time to check out and head to Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) for your flight home. Reflect on all the adventures, the new friendships, and the stunning landscapes you’ve experienced throughout this incredible Costa Rican journey.
