-You’ve arrived! Touch down at Jorge Chávez International Airport, where your adventure officially begins. Connect with your travel crew for the first time as we catch our transfer to the hotel.
-We’ll check in, drop our bags, and gather again for a welcome meeting to review the trip to come, what to expect, and any last-minute details.
-Then, take some time to explore or unwind – whatever calls you!
-Come back together for a welcome dinner at Mangos Larcomar. Nestled by the ocean with stunning views, it’s the perfect spot to kick off the trip with good food, new friends, and all the IG-worthy moments you’ll be dying to share with the folks back home. This is only the beginning!
-Ready for a full day of exploring Lima's rich history and vibrant culture? Us too. First up, we’ll visit Huaca Pucllana, an ancient pyramid right in the heart of the city.
-From there, we’ll head to the Larco Museum, where you’ll dive deep into Peru’s fascinating pre-Columbian art and artifacts. After soaking up the history, enjoy a unique lunch at the museum, blending art and food in an unexpected but welcome way.
-The adventure continues as we explore Lima’s Historic Center, walking through the iconic Plaza Mayor and learning about the city’s colonial roots. You’ll also hit the Santo Domingo Museum, before winding down with a visit to a stunning light and water show at the Magic Water Circuit.
-Dinner at Tanta will be the perfect way to close out the day, with flavorful Peruvian dishes that will make your taste buds sing.
-From here, the night is free to keep strolling and snapping pics, journaling your thoughts about the city so far, or sketching an interesting sight from our exploration. The choice is yours!
-Trade the city lights for natural sights today as we head out on an adventure on the water. A boat to explore the Ballestas Islands offers us an up close and personal view of some epic wildlife like wild sea lions, penguins, and birdlife.
-Next, we’re off to Tacama Vineyard for a wine and pisco tasting that’ll introduce you to some of Peru’s finest spirits. Pair that with a tasty lunch at the vineyard, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and great vibes.
-Afterward, it’s time to head to the desert! We’ll stop by Huacachina Oasis, where you’ll get your adrenaline rush with a thrilling sandboarding and dune buggy ride. Trust us, this is one of those experiences you won’t stop talking about.
-Then, we’ll return to the hotel by evening, grabbing dinner en route on our own if we choose. Then, the night is free for thrill, chill, or a little bit of both – what will you discover?
-Diving into the coastal beauty and charming parks of Lima, we begin at El Olivar Park in San Isidro, a peaceful oasis of olive trees that’s perfect for a morning stroll.
-Then, we’ll head to the Miraflores Boardwalk, with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Be sure to snap some pics at Parque del Amor, where colorful mosaics and stunning views of the sea come together in one place, plus that iconic larger-than-life statue of two lovers in a shared smooch. Cute!
-Next, we’re off to Barranco, Lima’s artsy, bohemian neighborhood. Here, you’ll explore its vibrant streets and iconic landmarks like the Puente de los Suspiros, a historic bridge steeped in romance.
-After a local lunch, you’ll have some free time to shop, relax, or explore more of Lima on your own.
-For dinner, we’ll meet at Al Fresco, a cozy spot where you can indulge in fresh seafood while taking in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a day filled with culture, creativity, and coastal vibes.
-Get ready for a day full of food, flavor, and fun! We’re diving into a walking gastronomic tour through Miraflores and Surquillo. Start with some of Lima’s best coffee and fresh bakery treats that are perfect for your morning cravings. Then, we’ll hit the Surquillo market to try exotic fruits you just might have never seen before. The highlight of the tour will be a ceviche stop (paired with a refreshing pisco cocktail, of course) before finishing up with sweet, crispy churros for dessert.
-Once the tour wraps up, we’ll return to the hotel, and you’ll have free time to relax or explore more of Lima on your own. It’s our last afternoon, so make sure you hit up all your bucket list stops!
-In the evening, we’ll gather for a special farewell dinner at Isolina in Barranco. This rustic-chic spot is all about traditional Peruvian comfort food, served in the heart of one of Lima’s most artistic neighborhoods. Cheers!
-All good things must come to an end, and this one is no different. After a hearty breakfast, it’s time to check out of your accommodation. We’ll then gather for a group transfer to Jorge Chávez International Airport, where your adventure in Lima comes to an end.
