Refunds for deposits
We will hold your spot as soon as you put down your deposit. However, if you decide to cancel your trip, we will be unable to refund your deposit.
Refunds for fully-paid trips
You may change or cancel your trip by June 19, 2024 for a refund, excluding the deposit. After this date, no refunds will be given. To change or cancel your trip, please email travelers@tourhero.com.
You may transfer your spot
At any point until July 29, 2023, you may choose to transfer your spot to another traveler. The price will reflect the current selling price of the trip at the time of transfer. Once the new traveler has been introduced and books their spot, we will refund you for your payments. If you would like to transfer your spot, please email travelers@tourhero.com.
Note: If there is a waitlist, you may not be able to choose who you transfer your spot to. We will contact the next person on the waitlist for this trip and transfer your spot to them.
Trip cancellation due to COVID-19
A full credit will be issued if the tour is canceled when there is full border closure due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. This credit can go towards booking a future TourHero tour. We suggest buying your own travel insurance for coverage of cancellations within 30 days of the tour commencing for reasons other than a full tour cancellation.

Welcome to the enchanting island of Puerto Rico, where the sun shines bright and the fun never stops! As you land at San Juan International Airport, we'll be waiting to meet with you and whisk you away to your hotel. Get checked in and take some time to unwind and unpack your bags. The rest of the day is yours to explore the vibrant city of San Juan, soak up the tropical vibes, and indulge in the local culture! Immerse yourself in the beauty of the sights and sounds that San Juan has to offer and create unforgettable memories on your first night here. Get ready for an unforgettable journey that you will treasure forever!
Day 2 · August 31, 2024
Head out on an immersive walking tour of Old San Juan — come across historical sites and landmarks including Fort San Cristobal
Today, you'll embark on a walking tour of Old San Juan to immerse yourself in five centuries of captivating history, culture, and heritage that adorn the cobblestone streets of this charming city. This tour is a journey through picturesque streets and passageways featuring art galleries, eye-catching shops, and cozy cafes. During the tour, you will come across historical sites and colonial landmarks such as Fort San Cristobal, the Executive Mansion La Fortaleza, the legendary San Juan Cathedral, the Plaza de Armas, the Chapel of Christ and the San Francisco Church, among other places of interest.
Tour duration: 3 hours plus transfers.
Includes: Transportation from hotel to Old San Juan, professional English-speaking guide, and entry into Fort San Cristobal.
Day 3 · September 1, 2024
Live the good life at Cayo Icacos (Icacos Island) with a day of sailing and snorkeling in paradise
Rise and shine to another beautiful day in Puerto Rico! Today, we’re headed to Cayo Icacos, also known as Icacos Island, the largest and most picturesque of the cays that make up La Cordillera Nature Reserve off the Northeast tip of Puerto Rico. Our transfer will take us East to Fajardo where we’ll board a catamaran and take a leisurely sail to an unspoiled beach for lounging, snorkeling, and picnicking in a tropical sanctuary. Enjoy a light lunch and free-flow drinks to make this day the best it can be!
Once we return to land, we’ll head back to the hotel where you’ll have a free night on the island. Head downtown, grab a meal with the group, and feel free to enjoy the island’s nightlife. Live it up!
Tour duration: Around 8 hours.
Includes: Roundtrip transportation, catamaran sailing tour, lunch, rum prepared drinks, sodas, juices and water.

Enjoy a free day to relax and explore
Good morning! Today is a completely free day for you to do as you please. Have a leisurely morning and take things as slow as you want. Bask in the glorious sunshine, sink your toes in the warm sand, and relish in the plethora of experiences that the island has to offer. Whether it's exploring the pristine beaches, indulging in the local cuisine, or discovering the hidden gems of San Juan, Puerto Rico is your oyster. Enjoy!

One last day of fun in the island sun
Wake up at your own pace before a late morning getting out on the water for some sea kayaking, after this spend a free afternoon in San Juan to rest, relax, and explore. It’s your last day on the island, so make it the best it can be!
Day 6 · September 4, 2024
It’s time to say goodbye to Puerto Rico and head home
We've come to the final day of your adventure in Puerto Rico! We hope you had a stellar trip discovering the treasures of San Juan, Icacos Island, and beyond! Now, it's time to pack up and catch your transfer to the airport in time for your flight back home. Safe travels and see you again soon!

What happens if I need to cancel my trip?

Will TourHero or the operator take care of my visa (if applicable)?
Travelers are responsible for researching visa requirements and obtaining a visa if needed. Please check government websites to ensure you have the necessary documents, along with passport requirements, before your departure date. This includes necessary transit visas, permits, and vaccinations required prior to travel and any required reciprocity fees for the destination. TourHero will provide a booking confirmation document after purchase, which may be needed to obtain a visa.
If your visa is denied for any reason, TourHero will issue a refund based on the cancellation policy. However, we are unable to provide a refund after the cancellation due date has passed.
Do I need a passport for this trip?
A full and valid passport is required for all persons traveling to any destination outside of one’s home country. Most international tours require a passport that's valid for at least six (6) months beyond the scheduled end of your itinerary.
