Cancellation policy
TourHero, the retreat host, and the tour operator reserve the right to cancel or reschedule this trip up until May 20, 2024. If the departure is canceled out of your control, you will be alerted by this date and will receive a full refund.
In this case, TourHero is not responsible for your preparation expenses, such as airline tickets, extra accommodations, loss of work, or any other cost associated with preparing for your trip. We recommend booking travel insurance, along with refundable flights/accommodations in case of cancellation.
Refunds for deposits
We will hold your spot as soon as you put down your deposit. However, if you decide to cancel your trip, we will be unable to refund your deposit.
Refunds for fully-paid trips
You may change or cancel your trip by May 20, 2024 for a refund, excluding the deposit. After this date, no refunds will be given. To change or cancel your trip, please email travelers@tourhero.com.
Trip cancellation due to COVID-19
A full credit will be issued if the tour is canceled when there is full border closure due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Welcome to paradise in Akumal
We are delighted to welcome you to our corporate retreat in the stunning environs of Mexico. Upon your arrival in this beautiful country, you’ll be greeted by a group transfer that will ensure a smooth and comfortable journey from the airport directly to our retreat location. Upon arrival at Ekumal, complete a seamless check-in process, then settle into your accommodations, soaking in the serene atmosphere that surrounds us.
To cater to the diverse preferences of our group, we’re offering two distinct package options. For those who choose Package A, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy some free time. This is an ideal moment to unwind, explore the retreat's amenities, or simply relax in the tranquil setting. Alternatively, Package B offers an invigorating hiking experience, perfect for those eager to connect with nature and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes that make Mexico a memorable destination.
Following these activities, we invite all guests to participate in a Bring Focus & Strength session. This carefully curated experience is designed to harmonize your mind and body, setting a positive and empowered tone for the duration of the retreat.
To conclude our first day, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner – a wonderful opportunity for all participants to connect, share experiences, and enjoy a selection of exquisite dishes that highlight the rich culinary heritage of Mexico. Dive into sacred ceremony and empowerment sessions to relax, balance, heal, and grow
Day 2’s schedule is designed to enrich both your physical and spiritual well-being, seamlessly blending traditional practices with moments of relaxation and introspection.
Your morning will commence with a series of preparatory asanas. This session is thoughtfully designed to awaken your body and mind, preparing you for the day ahead with a series of stretches and poses that cater to all experience levels. Following this invigorating start, you’ll be treated to a nourishing breakfast, featuring a variety of healthy, locally-sourced options to fuel your day.
A highlight of today's schedule is a Temazcal Ceremony. This ancient ritual, deeply rooted in the traditions of the local culture, offers a unique opportunity for purification and renewal. Conducted in a traditional sweat lodge, this ceremony is a profound experience that aims to cleanse both body and spirit, connecting you more deeply with the earth and yourself. After the ceremony, you’ll have some free time. This is your chance to reflect on the experience, explore the surroundings, or simply relax in the peaceful ambiance of our retreat.
In the afternoon, we invite you to participate in a Cacao Ceremony. This heart-opening ritual is centered around the sacred use of ceremonial-grade cacao, known for its healing properties and ability to facilitate inner work and creative expression. This ceremony is a beautiful way to connect with others and set intentions. Following this spiritual journey, we’ll reconvene for another session of Bring Focus & Strength.
As the sun sets over the lush jungle foliage, we’ll come together for a communal dinner, where you can savor the flavors of meticulously prepared dishes while sharing the day's insights and experiences with your fellow participants.
Day 3 · August 31, 2024
Breathe, stretch, swim, and learn in idyllic Akumal
Our final full day has arrived, and we ensure it will be filled with relaxation, culture, adventure, and growth. The morning begins with preparatory asanas, followed by a hearty breakfast, offering a selection of nutritious, locally-sourced options to energize you for the activities to come.
Today, we’re pleased to offer two distinct mid-morning activities through Package A and Package B. Package A allows for some free time, giving you the liberty to explore the retreat's facilities, indulge in personal reflection, or simply relax amidst the serene natural beauty of our surroundings. For those opting for Package B, an exhilarating horseback riding adventure awaits. This guided experience will take you through breathtaking landscapes, offering a unique way to connect with nature and enjoy the magnificent scenery that Mexico has to offer. Following your chosen morning activity, we’ll reconvene for lunch, preparing you for the afternoon's adventure.
The highlight of the afternoon is a visit to Cenote Dos Ojos, one of Mexico's most stunning natural wonders. This excursion will allow you to explore the crystal-clear waters of one of the world's most beautiful cenotes, offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to swim, snorkel, and marvel at the natural beauty of these unique underground freshwater pools.
After returning from our excursion, we’ll gather for one last Bring Focus & Strength session, followed by a communal dinner, where delicious, thoughtfully prepared dishes await. This is an ideal time to share experiences and reflections from the last few days, fostering connections with fellow participants and deepening the sense of community that makes our retreat so special. Enjoy this final night in paradise under a starry sky.

Enjoy your final hours here in Mexico before heading home
As we approach the end of our Mexican retreat, the day begins with preparatory asanas, followed by a nourishing breakfast. This meal offers a final opportunity to enjoy the flavors of Mexico and time to connect with new friends.
Following breakfast, you’ll have two options, marking the conclusion of our retreat experience. For those in Package A, it’ll be time to check out of the resort. A group transfer to the airport has been arranged to ensure your journey back is as seamless and stress-free as your arrival. This marks the end of your retreat experience, carrying with you the memories, insights, and rejuvenated spirit from your time spent with us.
For guests choosing to extend their stay with Package B, a relaxing massage is scheduled. This session is designed to offer deep relaxation, alleviate any remaining stress, and harmonize your body's energy, providing a perfect closure to the retreat experience. After your massage, a group transfer to the airport will be provided, allowing you to reflect on your experiences in tranquility as you prepare to reintegrate into your daily routine.

Will TourHero or the operator take care of my visa (if applicable)?
Travelers are responsible for researching visa requirements and obtaining a visa if needed.
