Cancellation policy
TourHero, the retreat host, and the tour operator reserve the right to cancel or reschedule this trip up until October 19, 2024. If the departure is canceled out of your control, you will be alerted by this date and will receive a full refund.
In this case, TourHero is not responsible for your preparation expenses, such as airline tickets, extra accommodations, loss of work, or any other cost associated with preparing for your trip. We recommend booking travel insurance, along with refundable flights/accommodations in case of cancellation.
Refunds for deposits
We will hold your spot as soon as you put down your deposit. However, if you decide to cancel your trip, we will be unable to refund your deposit.
Refunds for fully-paid trips

Trip cancellation due to COVID-19
A full credit will be issued if the tour is canceled when there is full border closure due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. This credit can go towards booking a future TourHero tour. Upon arriving at the stunning Hotel Barbarenas, you are greeted by the serene ambiance of this eco-friendly sanctuary. Rise and shine! The second day of the retreat greets you with the soft, warm embrace of the Puerto Escondido sunrise. Francesca will lead the group through a morning soul flow session to set the tone for the day. This practice is a fluid blend of strength and grace. Following this rejuvenating session, a wholesome breakfast awaits, crafted to energize.
The heart of the day is dedicated to personal exploration and restorative leisure. You are encouraged to indulge in your newfound sense of freedom, exploring the enchanting grounds of Hotel Barbarenas or venturing into the lush surroundings. This free time is an open canvas, so enjoy it as you wish!
As the afternoon mellows into evening, a restful interlude paves the way for the deeply rejuvenating yin yoga and restore stretch session. This evening practice, lit by the soft glow of the setting sun, is a journey into the depths of relaxation and healing. It’s a time to release, to let go of the old, and to embrace renewal and lightness of being.

Day three of the retreat unfurls with the energizing ritual of morning soul flow, where Francesca's guidance will lead you through a sequence that balances vitality with serenity, mirroring the dynamic ebb and flow of the ocean's tides. Then, a sumptuous breakfast sets the stage for a day rich in personal fulfillment. For the adventurous souls, the thrill of optional surfing beckons (not included in price; see optional add-ons section). This activity promises exhilaration and connection with the majestic power of the sea. Alternatively, you may choose to bask in the tranquil bliss of the beach, letting the soothing sounds of the waves and the gentle kiss of the sun foster a deep sense of relaxation.

After breakfast, the morning's energy seamlessly transitions into free time, a golden opportunity for personal reflection, relaxation, or exploration. This time is an open invitation to engage with the environment and oneself in a meaningful way.
The afternoon brings a unique and transformative experience with a sacred cacao ceremony, a ritual steeped in ancient tradition and powerful symbolism. This ceremony is not just a tasting of the rich, earthy flavors of cacao but an immersive journey into the heart. It serves as a potent tool for clearing negative energies, opening the heart, and facilitating deep emotional healing.
As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, the day eases into our usual deep yin yoga and restore stretch session to aid in the release of any remaining tension. The day concludes with a communal dinner.

As the retreat progresses into its penultimate day, a beautiful rhythm of rejuvenation and self-exploration has been established. Enriched by another morning soul flow session, continue to deepen your journey towards healing and self-awareness amidst nature. A nourishing breakfast awaits, offering sustenance and a moment of communal warmth. The day then unfolds with ample free time for rest or the indulgent option of an optional massage (not included in price; see optional add-ons section). After a refreshing lunch, the afternoon extends the invitation for further personal time, a precious opportunity to practice mindful introspection, to relax, or to simply be in the moment. As evening approaches, the day's experiences culminate in a deep yin and restore stretch session to align the body and soul, and promote a sense of peace. The day rounds off with a delightful dinner.

It’s time to say goodbye and head home
It's the final day. After one last morning soul flow session with Francesca, we'll enjoy one more group breakfast together to cement the bonds we have created. After packing up and checking out, it's time to say goodbye as we catch our transfer to the airport and part ways. We hope this retreat has provided you with plenty of restful and restorative moments to leave you feeling refreshed and renewed, ready to tackle life head-on once you leave. Barbarenas is located in the heart of La Punta Zicatela, the vibrant hot spot of Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca. The sustainable, eco-friendly property is a tranquil sanctuary right near the beach designed for you to experience a true connection with nature and your inner self. The surfer vibes give the town a magical feeling of time passing in slow-motion, which you’ll experience every moment of your stay.
The hotel is committed to helping those on their healing journey, offering a variety of holistic experiences. Rest your head each night in the naturally designed cabins, featuring spacious terraces for relaxing and listening to the ocean waves come rolling in. You’ll also find comfortable bedding in communal rooms, modern en suites, posh decor, and a natural cooling system from the open-air structure. What happens if I need to cancel my trip?

Will TourHero or the operator take care of my visa (if applicable)?
Travelers are responsible for researching visa requirements and obtaining a visa if needed. Please check government websites to ensure you have the necessary documents, along with passport requirements, before your departure date.
