Hi! I’m Regina — designer, content creator, and founder of Famous Offline, a platform dedicated to curating experiences around art, design, and culture.
This trip to Mexico City is a curated journey into the heart of contemporary creativity. You’ll explore world-renowned museums, visit architectural icons, and dine at some of the city’s most exciting restaurants — all while traveling with like-minded creatives.
We’ll discover the city through the lens of art, design, and architecture — not just as tourists, but as curious minds looking to connect, reflect, and be inspired.
If you’re looking to recharge your creative energy, this journey is for you.
Mexico City is nothing short of a living museum. Walls splashed with murals, streets lined with galleries, and rooftops buzzing with creative energy culminate in a wholly-unique vibe you can only find right here. This trip puts you front row at the city’s most iconic art spaces, with an artist guide to unlock even deeper creative dimensions. You’ll wander through Luis Barragán’s dream home, get lost in the futuristic stacks of Biblioteca Vasconcelos, and see the freshest contemporary works at Museo Jumex and MUAC. By night, your accommodations are a sanctuary of style, and every meal is a chance to taste the city’s spirit. If you yearn for a trip defined by color, inspiration, and connection, this is your brush with adventure.
-Touch down at Mexico City International Airport and get whisked away to your home base, offering a chill spot to recharge after your travels.
-Take in the city from the rooftop pool or just vibe out in your suite. Tonight is all about getting settled and soaking up the energy of CDMX’s most stylish neighborhood.
-A welcome dinner brings us together to discuss what’s to come and toast to adventure.
-Breakfast begins the day before we dive straight into Mexico City’s art scene at Museo Jumex. This architectural gem, designed by David Chipperfield, is a hub for contemporary art and was born from the passion of collector Eugenio López Alonso.
-After lunch, enjoy a private tour at a cutting-edge contemporary gallery (location TBD), then head to Roma for dinner in one of the city’s trendiest neighborhoods.
-The night is yours to explore or relax as you please.
-After breakfast, step into the world of Luis Barragán at his iconic Casa Estudio. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, this three-story compound is a playground of color, light, and minimalist design, with magenta walls, floating staircases, and a garden that blurs the line between indoors and out.
-Next, grab tacos at a local spot before heading to Biblioteca Vasconcelos. Nicknamed the Megabiblioteca, this futuristic library is a visual feast with its seemingly endless bookshelves, glass catwalks, and a massive whale sculpture by Gabriel Orozco.
-Cap the day with dinner at a contemporary Mexican fine dining spot before heading back to the hotel.
-Rise and shine for breakfast, then make your way to the University Museum of Contemporary Art (MUAC), the first public museum in Mexico designed specifically for contemporary art.
-Opened in 2008 and housed in a striking building by Teodoro González de León, MUAC spotlights groundbreaking works from 1952 onward. Expect everything from experimental video installations to bold sculptures, all curated to spark conversation and inspire new ways of seeing the world.
-After lunch, the afternoon and evening are yours to explore, create, and whatever else calls.
-Today, the schedule is clear, meaning you are free to create your own adventures and relaxation.
-Come back together in the evening as we head to one of the city’s iconic rooftop bars or restaurants. Say farewell to the city as you are treated to sweeping views, creative cocktails, and a vibe that’s pure CDMX.
-Wrap up your adventure with breakfast and a group transfer back to Mexico City International Airport.
