Hi, my name is Jodi. After dedicating 11 years to being a stay-at-home mom, I boldly transformed my life’s path, founding Kettlebell Kickboxing Canada in 2017. Since then, I opened a flagship studio, innovated a hybrid online training model during the pandemic, and led two sold-out wellness retreats in 2023. As the author of I Don’t Do Vanilla and the founder of KBSTRONGER Training and Certification Program, I love combining my passion for movement with a mission to empower others to embrace strength, resilience, and renewal.
My retreats are designed to go beyond fitness—inviting participants to pause, reconnect, and reimagine their approach to wellness. My goal is to create a unique space where individuals can rest deeply, reset intentions, and restart with purpose.

-Meet up with our group for the first time and transfer to your cozy accommodations in Nosara, Casa Kismet.
-Get ready to invigorate your body and mind with a Mobility & Mindset session, led by Jodi, that introduces us to the experiences to come during our time together.
-Conclude the day with a delicious dinner under the Costa Rican sky.
-Good morning, travelers! It’s our first Central America morning. Fuel up with a delicious breakfast, followed by a dynamic Mobility session to get the body and mind moving.
-Dive deeper into yourself and learn more about our mental wellbeing with a Mindset workshop.
-Midday brings a satisfying lunch and a moment of relaxation.
-Get moving again, this time with a kettlebell therapy session that calls on both our physical and mental teachings thus far.
-Wrap up the day with a delectable dinner under the stars.
-Start today with a nourishing breakfast that fuels our minds and bodies alike.
-Our morning mobility session rejuvenates and strengthens, each movement bringing us closer to our goals. This is followed by another mindset session.
-This afternoon, we will venture out into town for an excursion that will let us get to know Nosara even better.
-The night ends with dinner together, sharing tales of our experiences today and so far together.
-Kickstart your day with a wholesome breakfast. After, you have the option to join a private surf lesson (see add-ons).
-An invigorating Mobility session to awaken your body and mind begins our day. This is followed by diving into your mind with a transformative mindset workshop designed to empower you and cultivate a positive outlook for what’s to come.
-Lunch is a welcome break in the early afternoon, followed by a kettlebell therapy session that challenges you to push yourself even further than you have been so far.
-An afternoon cold plunge reduces inflammation, speeds up recovery, and boosts our moods for continued fun.
-A delicious dinner is followed by sound bowl therapy, utilizing healing vibrations to calm our thoughts and spirits as we wind down for the night.
-It is our last full day with one another, so let’s make every minute count, beginning with breakfast.
-Dive into our mobility and mindset sessions, invigorating every part of us inside and out with Jodi’s integrative teachings.
-After breaking for lunch, we will roll into our final kettlebell therapy before rolling with the punches through boxing therapy. With these two movement sessions, you will activate every muscle, channeling the physical and inner strength you have worked so hard to build through our time together thus far.
-After some time to reset and refresh, we will come together for a White Dinner Party at a local restaurant (not included in price) where we will don our clean digs and celebrate our renewed mindsets over delicious local cuisine.
-Today, our journey together ends, but yours is just beginning. Grab one final breakfast before our closing mindset and movement session, bringing together all that we have learned into a last session that sends us back into our lives with a toolbox for success.
