Day 2 · January 13, 2026
Volcano views and farm-to-table feasting

-We’re hitting the road towards La Fortuna, but not without a few epic stops!

-First up: Poas Volcano National Park, where you'll witness the otherworldly crater of one of Costa Rica’s most active volcanoes.

-Then, we dive into the heart of nature at Finca Sura, an eco-farm where you’ll taste fresh fruit straight from the trees and enjoy a homemade Costa Rican lunch.

-After checking into our jungle retreat near Arenal, we'll end the day with a delicious dinner and soak in the magic of our surroundings.

Day 3 · January 14, 2026
Adventure and zen

-Ready to take it up a notch? We start the day flying high above the rainforest with an adrenaline-pumping zipline experience over La Fortuna’s lush canyon.

-Next, we hike to the breathtaking La Fortuna Waterfall, where you can take a refreshing dip in its emerald waters.

-After a cultural visit to the Maleku Indigenous Center and a tasty coffee and chocolate tour, we’ll balance it all out with an evening at Ecotermales hot springs — natural volcanic pools that will melt all your stress away, with dinner served under the stars.

Day 4 · January 15, 2026
Lava trails and rainforest escape

-We begin with a scenic trek along the Arenal 1968 lava trails, where you’ll walk through old lava flows from one of the most iconic eruptions in Costa Rica’s history.

-Then, we drive toward Rincon de la Vieja National Park, a raw and untamed paradise known for its volcanic activity, lush forests, and thermal rivers.

-We’ll check into our lodge, where the jungle sounds will lull you to sleep.

Day 5 · January 16, 2026
Hidden waterfalls and beach vibes

-Time to chase waterfalls! We embark on a hike through rocky canyons and river trails to reach La Leona Waterfall, a hidden gem with bright turquoise waters.

-Then, we make our way to the beach town of Tamarindo, where golden sands and Pacific Ocean waves welcome us.

-Check into our ocean-view hotel and enjoy the rest of the day however you please — surf, explore, or just kick back with a tropical drink.

Day 6 · January 17, 2026
Sun, sea, and sailing in Tamarindo

-A slow morning in paradise awaits — sleep in, hit the beach, or explore Tamarindo’s vibrant shops.

-In the afternoon, we set sail on a catamaran for an unforgettable sunset tour.

-Snorkel in crystal-clear waters, enjoy a fresh lunch on board, and sip on a cocktail as the sun dips below the horizon. Pure bliss.

An after taste for more adventure

-One last morning to soak in the beach vibes before heading to the airport. Whether it’s a sunrise walk or a quick dip in the ocean, take a moment to reflect on this incredible journey.

Refunds for balance payment
If you cancel your trip on or before Nov 5, 2025 at 11:59 PM local time (GMT -6), you will get a refund of the remaining balance. This may or may not include the deposit amount. See deposit refund section above.
