Temples and Tastes: A Day in Chiang Mai

-Our first full day in Chiang Mai is all about exploring the city's spiritual and culinary heartbeat.

-After breakfast at a sweet local café, we’ll wander through centuries of history at Wat Chiang Man, the city’s oldest temple, and marvel at the intricate silverwork of Wat Sri Suphan. We'll also stop by the forest-enveloped Wat Umong — a peaceful, hidden sanctuary.

-After a mouthwatering bowl of Khao Soi at a beloved local spot, we’ll leave the rest of the day open for you to explore or rest.

-Tonight, we dive into Chiang Mai's vibrant night markets with a guided foodie tour, tasting everything from spicy skewers to sweet coconut pancakes.

Day 3 · March 17, 2026
From calming mountains to coastal charm

-This morning, we say goodbye to the mountains and hello to the islands! After a quick flight to Phuket, we'll step into tropical paradise.

-Our first stop? The lush and fragrant Phuket Botanic Garden is a hidden sanctuary bursting with vibrant blooms and exotic greenery.

-Later, hop in a colorful Tuk Tuk and cruise through historic Phuket Town, where pastel Sino-Portuguese architecture meets buzzing market energy.

-We’ll wrap up the evening at the local night market, where you can snack, shop, and soak in the energy of island life.

-We’ll glide across crystal-clear waters by speedboat, stopping first at the world-famous Maya Bay — yes, that fabled Maya Bay from 'The Beach,' starring Leonardo DiCaprio. From there, we’ll explore the turquoise Pileh Lagoon, visit the mysterious Viking Cave, and maybe spot some playful monkeys at Monkey Beach.

-Snorkel in vibrant reefs around Phi Phi Don, then recharge with a tasty island lunch.

-We’ll end the day relaxing on the powdery sands of Bamboo Island, soaking in paradise before cruising back to Phuket with sun-kissed skin and hearts full of wonder.

Sacred moments and sweet goodbyes

-Our final full day is one for the soul. We’ll visit a local elephant sanctuary that’s all about ethical care and conservation. Spend meaningful time learning about these gentle giants, feeding them, and watching them roam free.

-After a Thai-style lunch, we’ll take a little breather back at the resort.

-As the sun sets, get dressed up for our farewell dinner at Blue Elephant — an iconic Michelin-rated restaurant housed in a historic mansion. Expect a culinary journey of flavors, stories, and laughter as we toast to this beautiful adventure we’ve shared.
