Hi, I’m Rozeen! Travel has always been my way of seeing the world through fresh eyes, and few places captivate me like Egypt. After more than 20 years, I’m beyond excited to return and experience its rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture all over again.

This journey is for the culturally obsessed—those who crave both adventure and history. Over nine unforgettable days, we’ll walk through the temples of Luxor, sail the Nile on a felucca, stand before the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel, and connect with the traditions of a Nubian village. Whether it’s exploring ancient tombs, watching the sunrise from a hot air balloon, or simply soaking in the magic of Egypt, this trip is all about immersion and discovery.

As a solo traveler, I believe that the best experiences come from embracing the unknown, connecting with new people, and keeping a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a trip that blends history, culture, and a bit of spontaneity—this is it. Let’s explore Egypt together and create stories worth telling!

Day 1 · October 18, 2025
Landing in Luxor

-Welcome to Egypt! After landing at Luxor International Airport, you'll meet your travel crew and transfer to your hotel, where you'll have time to settle in and soak up the excitement of the days ahead.

-Your adventure kicks off in Luxor, a city that was once the capital of ancient Thebes and remains a gateway to some of the world’s most iconic historical treasures. Tonight, we’re officially kicking off the trip with a welcome dinner and getting to know each other a bit more.

-The rest of the evening is yours to tuck in early or check out more of the city. Your adventure is just beginning!

Day 2 · October 19, 2025
Go west, explorer

-Starting on a high note, rise and shine early (if you’re feeling adventurous) for an unforgettable sunrise hot air balloon ride. This optional experience offers breathtaking views of Luxor’s ancient monuments, bathed in golden light as the sun creeps over the Nile.

-Today, the group dives deep into Luxor’s rich past with a tour of the West Bank. First stop: the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs like Tutankhamun were laid to rest in tombs bursting with intricate hieroglyphics and otherworldly artwork.

-Next, you’ll visit the awe-inspiring Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to Egypt’s famous female pharaoh, whose reign redefined leadership.

-Finally, we’ll stand before the towering Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that have watched over this land for millennia.

-After a day of stepping back in time, we’ll head back to the hotel to recharge. Dinner will be served, and the evening is yours to relax, share stories, or explore Luxor by night.

Day 3 · October 20, 2025
Temple time

-Luxor’s East Bank awaits us. First stop: Karnak Temple, a sprawling complex dedicated to the gods and known for its colossal columns, sacred lake, and the Great Hypostyle Hall: a forest of sandstone pillars that feels straight out of an epic movie.

-Next up is Luxor Temple, a stunning masterpiece connected to Karnak by the Avenue of Sphinxes. This temple comes alive with stories of pharaohs, gods, and even Alexander the Great, who left his mark here.

-After soaking up the grandeur of these ancient sites, enjoy some free time to explore Luxor at your own pace.

-We’ll reconvene back at the hotel for dinner, followed by a laid-back evening to do as you please. Stroll alongside the Nile, mingle with the locals, or get some extra shut-eye after an action packed day.

Day 4 · October 21, 2025
On to Aswan

-After breakfast, we’ll say goodbye to Luxor and hit the road for Aswan, a city famous for its laid-back vibes and stunning scenery along the Nile.

-Once we arrive, it’s straight into exploration mode with a tour of Aswan’s highlights. First, we’ll visit the High Dam, a modern engineering marvel that tamed the Nile and reshaped Egypt’s landscape.

-Then, we’ll dive back into ancient history at the Unfinished Obelisk, a massive stone monument abandoned mid-carving, offering a fascinating glimpse into ancient construction.

-Finally, we head to the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and housed on an island in the dam’s reservoir. The temple’s relocation after the dam’s construction is a story almost as epic as its carvings.

-After the tour, we’ll check into our hotel, where you’ll have time to relax and unwind before dinner. From there, the night’s schedule is free – a canvas for you to create an adventure of your own.

Day 5 · October 22, 2025
Journey to the giants of Abu Simbel

-Road trip! We’re heading to one of Egypt’s most iconic treasures: the Abu Simbel Temples. These jaw-dropping monuments, carved into solid rock by Pharaoh Ramses II, are a testament to ancient Egypt’s architectural genius and power.

-The sheer size of the statues guarding the temple entrances is enough to leave you speechless, and the detailed interior carvings tell stories of gods, battles, and Ramses’ legacy. You’ll have plenty of time to marvel at the intricate artistry of both the main temple and the smaller but equally stunning temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari.

-After soaking in this wonder, we’ll make our way back to Aswan. Dinner awaits upon our return, and the evening is yours to relax, explore Aswan’s local markets, or enjoy the peaceful Nile-side atmosphere.

Day 6 · October 23, 2025
Sail, explore, discover

-A serene felucca ride on the Nile begins our day. As you glide along the gentle currents, you’ll soak in the timeless beauty of Aswan’s riverbanks, dotted with palm trees, granite boulders, and even wildlife – keep your eyes peeled!

-Our journey takes us to a Nubian village, where you’ll step into a colorful world filled with rich culture, warm hospitality, and deep history. This community’s unique traditions, language, and brightly painted homes offer a refreshing glimpse into a lesser-known side of the country. Explore the village, meet locals, and perhaps pick up some handmade crafts or spices as keepsakes.

-After some free time to wander and enjoy the slower pace, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner. From here, the night is open for your to take on your way.

Day 7 · October 24, 2025
Let’s go back to Luxor

-After breakfast, we’ll check out and begin our scenic drive back to Luxor, but not without a few awesome stops along the way.

-First up is Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god. Walk through its towering walls and intricately carved halls.

-Next, we’ll visit the unique Kom Ombo Temple, perched dramatically on the Nile. This dual temple is dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Horus the Elder, making it one of the most fascinating and symbolic sites of the ancient world.

-After a full day of adventure, we’ll arrive in Luxor and check into our hotel. Dinner will be served, then we have time to venture back into the city we got to know earlier in our journey. Will you revisit an old favorite or check out something new?

Day 8 · October 25, 2025
Free day, your way

-The day today is yours to explore Luxor at your own pace.

-For those seeking extra adventure, seek out optional experiences like a camel ride, museums, or checking out local artisans at work. Or, if you’re feeling more laid-back, take the day to relax at the hotel, enjoy a poolside view of the Nile, or recharge before wrapping up the trip.

-We’ll gather in the evening for dinner, giving you one more opportunity to connect with the group and share stories from the day.

Day 9 · October 26, 2025
