Colombia welcomes you warmly. We are thrilled to have you with us on this rejuvenating wellness retreat held in the country's lush coffee region, surrounded by picturesque valleys, mountains, and rivers! Upon arriving at the airport, you will be transferred to the dreamy Anahata Retreat, our sanctuary for the next few days, located in Quimbaya. Surrounded by alluring views of the Andean highlands, you will find this secret paradise to be the most perfect place for connecting with nature and with yourself.
Once we have all checked in and settled into this peaceful location, it's time to get to know each other. Our first session will begin with a sound bowl meditation that will help us set the vibrations for the rest of the trip. After this, we'll take a walk around Anahata Retreat to familiarize ourselves with the beautiful grounds.
Our first day will conclude with a nourishing welcome dinner to celebrate new beginnings and the start of an incredible wellness journey!
Rise and shine — we hope you had a restful sleep last night. Today, we'll start the morning with a rejuvenating yoga session that will awaken your body and set the tone for the day. Then, a nourishing breakfast will fuel you with the energy you need. The remainder of the morning can be spent freely at leisure. Explore your surroundings, connect with nature, and enjoy the amenities at the property.
We'll come together for a delicious lunch in the afternoon, and before dinner we'll participate in a guided meditation and breathwork session that will help you tap into a state of relaxation and inner peace. Deepen your connection to yourself and the present moment as you set quiet intentions. Once evening arrives, we'll attend a bonfire and enjoy a wholesome dinner together.
Wake up to a nourishing breakfast that will energize you for the day ahead. After breakfast, we'll journey to the Wax Palm Valley to embark on a half-day adventure through the lush palm trees. During our hike, you'll have the chance to connect with nature, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the valley.
Then, we'll transfer to the charming village of Salento, where we'll have the opportunity to meet with the locals and experience the culture and traditions of the area. We will indulge in a delicious lunch here before returning to the accommodation.
The evening is reserved for a grounding yoga session, during which we can practice some mindful introspection and reflection. A rewarding group dinner will follow.
Awaken to a beautiful morning in Quimbaya, one that begins with a rejuvenating morning yoga session that will set our minds and bodies at ease. After a hearty breakfast, enjoy some free time in the day to relax, unwind, or explore to your heart's content. We will then indulge in a delicious lunch that delights our taste buds and provides us with the necessary nutrients to keep our energy levels high. After lunch, participate in a shared circle, where we have the opportunity to connect with each other, share experiences, and build on our sense of community.
To end the day, we'll gather for dinner — share stories, laughter, and fun memories with your fellow retreat companions!
After breakfast, we embark on an excursion to Santa Rosa de Cabal. Indulge in the serene thermal hot springs here, nestled at the foot of Nevado National Park's breathtaking peaks. These thermal springs, renowned for their stunning beauty, boast a mesmerizing waterfall and a range of basins that vary in temperature and sulfur content. After this excursion, we'll head back to the retreat. A yoga session and meditation will lead into an evening of warm and heartfelt conversations over dinner with your fellow retreat companions.
We've come to the final day of this relaxing retreat. We hope you have had a wonderful journey connecting with yourself and with nature, and will take home with you the gentle lessons learned and intentions formed over the last few days. After one last yoga session and breakfast this morning, it’s time to leave our sanctuary behind and depart for the airport. We hope to see you again — travel safe!
