-Rise and shine! Today’s adventure-packed itinerary kicks off early as we leave Lima behind and head south to Paracas, a coastal town known for its rich marine life.
-First stop: the Ballestas Islands! Hop on a speedboat and cruise past dramatic rock formations teeming with sea lions, penguins, and thousands of seabirds. Keep an eye out for the mysterious Candelabra geoglyph, a massive, centuries-old symbol etched into the hillside.
-Next, we swap the salty breeze for vineyards at Tacama, Peru’s oldest winery. Here, we’ll dive into the world of pisco, Peru’s legendary grape-based spirit, alongside some fantastic local wines.
-From there, it’s off to Huacachina, a surreal desert oasis straight out of a postcard. Brace yourself for an adrenaline rush as we grab our sand boards and boogies to ride down the golden slopes. It’s like snowboarding with a sunny, sandy twist.
-After an eventful day, we’ll return to Lima, where the night is yours to explore the city’s buzzing food scene or unwind after a day of nonstop adventure.
-Today, we trade Lima’s coastline for the breathtaking heights of the Andes. After an early breakfast and hotel check-out, we’ll head to Jorge Chávez International Airport for a flight to Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire.
-From the airport, we’ll transfer straight to Ollantaytambo, a charming town with cobblestone streets and centuries-old Inca ruins. Here, we’ll board the PeruRail Expedition train, winding through the dramatic Urubamba River valley. This ride is pure cinematic magic, with towering mountains, lush greenery, and rushing rivers at every turn.
-Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu, we’ll transfer to our hotel. Soak in the town’s laid-back vibes, browse local artisan markets, or pay a visit to the nearby hot springs for a relaxing soak. Rest up - more adventure awaits tomorrow!
-Today’s the day! After an early breakfast, we’ll hop on the bus to Machu Picchu, zigzagging up the lush mountainside to one of the world’s most awe-inspiring archaeological sites. As the mist lifts, the ancient citadel comes into view.
-With a guided tour, we’ll walk through the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana Stone, and the terraces of the agricultural sector, uncovering the engineering genius of the Incas. After the tour, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace.
-After descending back to Aguas Calientes, the afternoon is yours to grab lunch and relax. Take it easy by browsing the town’s artisan markets or epic nature views before returning to the hotel. The night is open for dinner and reflecting on the magic of Machu Picchu. It’s a bucket-list day you’ll never forget!
-Today starts with an unforgettable hike up Machu Picchu Mountain. Once we have breakfast and check out of the hotel, we’ll take the bus back up the mountain, but this time, instead of exploring the ruins, we’re going higher to one of the best panoramic viewpoints in the entire region.
-This challenging but rewarding trek takes us above the ruins to 360-degree views of the Andes, the Urubamba River, and Machu Picchu itself far below.
-After our epic hike, it’s time to board the PeruRail Expedition train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, a scenic drive takes us to Cusco, where we’ll check into our hotel for some well-earned R&R.
-The rest of the evening is yours. Take a stroll, explore Plaza de Armas, or find a quiet café to simply sip and unwind. After today, you earned it!
-Another awe-inspiring, lifetime-memory-creating adventure awaits! We’re headed to Rainbow Mountain, one of the most surreal landscapes in the country and world. Expect high-altitude trekking with breathtaking views of colorful peaks, grazing alpacas, and local Quechua communities along the way. The effort pays off at the top, where you’ll be rewarded with an unreal panoramic view that looks straight out of an art gallery.
-After our journey, we’re headed to the airport to return to the capital city of Lima. Upon arrival, we’ll head back to Miraflores, checking into our hotel for a final night of fun.
-Shopping, sipping, strolling – however you wish to spend the evening, you’re the boss in the last hours of the journey.
-After an incredible week, it’s time to say goodbye. After breakfast and checkout, we’ll take a group transfer to Jorge Chávez International Airport for departure flights home.
