Welcome to Rabat!

Touch down in Morocco’s capital, where ancient ramparts blend with palm-lined boulevards and the Atlantic breeze sets the tone for adventure.

After settling in, the group gathers for a welcome dinner at Le Medina, where the aromas of cumin, saffron, and slow-cooked lamb fill the air. This is more than a meal — it’s your first taste of Moroccan hospitality, where each dish tells a story and every spice hints at journeys to come. Dig in!

Day 2 · August 2, 2026
From Rabat’s icons to Chefchaouen’s blue hues

Begin your day with breakfast and a stroll through Rabat’s ancient medina, a labyrinth of vibrant souks and mosaic-tiled courtyards, perfect for capturing Morocco’s timeless charm. Marvel at the grandeur of the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the striking Hassan Tower, then wander the whitewashed Kasbah of the Oudayas, perched above the Bouregreg River.

A boat tour offers fresh perspectives and photo ops before lunch at Dar Zaki, known for its refined take on Moroccan classics.

The afternoon brings a dose of modern culture at the Museum of Mohammed VI for Modern and Contemporary Art, showcasing Moroccan creativity.

As the sun dips, transfer north to Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” nestled in the Rif Mountains, and enjoy dinner at Restaurant Morisco, where mountain flavors meet Mediterranean flair.

Day 3 · August 3, 2026
Into the blue

Wake up surrounded by Chefchaouen’s iconic indigo hues. A guided tour leads you through winding alleys, the 15th-century Kasbah, and up to the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views — each stop a photographer’s dream. Feel the cool mist at Ras El Maa Waterfall before lunch at Mandala, a local favorite blending Moroccan and Mediterranean bites.

In the afternoon, lace up for a short hike to Akchour, where emerald pools and dramatic gorges offer both adventure and stunning photo backdrops.

Return to your riad for a home-cooked dinner, savoring the region’s rustic flavors.

Day 4 · August 4, 2026
Ancient echoes: From Roman ruins to Fes’ labyrinth

Bid farewell to Chefchaouen as the group travels south, stopping at the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. Walk among centuries-old mosaics and crumbling columns, imagining life in this once-bustling outpost of empire.

Lunch awaits at Nomai in Fes, where modern twists on Moroccan cuisine set the tone for your next destination.

Arrive in Fes, a city famed for its labyrinthine medina and spiritual heritage, and enjoy an evening at leisure before dinner at L’italien, where Italian flavors meet Moroccan hospitality.

Day 5 · August 5, 2026
Fes unveiled: Palaces, scholars, and souk secrets

Dive into the wonders of Fes with a full-day guided tour. Begin at the Royal Palace and the historic Mellah (Jewish Quarter), then visit Al Quaraouine University, recognized as the world’s oldest continually operating university.

Lunch at Made in M offers a creative take on local ingredients.

The adventure continues in the old medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where artisans dye leather in rainbow-hued tanneries and every alley reveals a new story.

Cap off the day with dinner at La Grillardiere, known for its grilled specialties and lively atmosphere.
