Marrakech welcomes you with open arms – a vibrant city that features a rich history, friendly culture, and delicious food. Upon arrival, a group transfer will be arranged to ensure a smooth journey from the airport to your home away from home for the duration of the retreat. After checking in, take some time to unwind and explore the beautifully intricate details of your riad and the area at your own pace.
When the sun sets on the city, we’ll come together as a group for a sumptuous welcome dinner, an opportunity to meet fellow guests and bond over traditional Moroccan cuisine. This dinner will not only satisfy your taste buds but also serve as a heartwarming introduction to the community, setting the tone for a journey of health, wellness, and self-discovery in the enchanting setting of Morocco. The day begins at the tranquil hour of 7:00 am with a session of Hatha Yoga Alignment and Meditation. This early morning practice is designed to awaken your body and mind, setting a peaceful tone for the day ahead. Following your yoga session, you’ll be treated to a nourishing breakfast.
Next on the agenda is a private guided tour of Marrakech. This excursion will lead you through the vibrant streets of the city, where you'll discover the rich tapestry of Moroccan culture, history, and architecture. From the bustling souks filled with crafts and spices to the majestic beauty of historical sites, this tour is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the local way of life and marvel at the city's enchanting allure. After your exploration, enjoy a delightful lunch, offering a moment to rest and reflect on the morning's discoveries.
The afternoon grants you free time to pursue your interests or simply relax. Whether you choose to delve deeper into the city, engage in reflective time, or connect with fellow participants, this period is yours to recharge in whatever way serves you best. The day will conclude with dinner, a communal time to gather, share stories of the day's adventures, and enjoy another delicious meal together. This space is not just about the food but about reinforcing the bonds within your retreat community, fostering a sense of belonging and togetherness in beautiful Morocco.
Rise and shine bright and early, as the colors change in the sky over the city. At 7:30 am, our day begins with an invigorating Power Yoga session. This one-hour class is designed to energize and strengthen your body, combining dynamic movements with focused breathing to enhance physical and mental stamina. After your practice, a well-deserved breakfast awaits.
At 9:00 am, you'll engage in a 40-minute Body Sculpt session. This workout is tailored to tone and define your muscles, using a variety of exercises that focus on strength and flexibility. It's a wonderful complement to your morning yoga, designed to enhance your body's shape and resilience, leaving you feeling empowered and centered. Following this session, you'll have some free time to enjoy as you wish, along with a delicious local lunch.
As the day winds down, you'll participate in a Mobility Yoga session lasting 1.5 hours. This practice is focused on enhancing your flexibility and range of motion through gentle, flowing movements. It's a soothing and therapeutic session, perfect for unwinding and reflecting on the day. From here, close of the night with dinner, where you can relax and share experiences with the retreat community. Soak it all in and savor this time here in Morocco.
Another peaceful day begins with a revitalizing Morning Energy Yoga session at 7:30 am. This 1.5-hour class is meticulously designed to kickstart your day with vibrancy and vitality. Following your practice, enjoy a hearty and nutritious breakfast.
Our wellness theme continues at 10:00 am, where you'll participate in an Exchange and Advice on Nutrition workshop lasting for 2 hours. This informative session is an opportunity to delve deeper into the principles of healthy eating and how they integrate within overall wellness paradigms.
After a large block of free time, you'll engage in a Strong Nation fitness class. This one-hour session is a high-intensity workout that combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio, and plyometric training moves. From here, it’s time to say goodbye to the city, as you'll be transferred to Agafay for a unique dining experience at a desert camp. Embrace the beauty of the desert, enjoy camel rides, and take advantage of free time to explore the camp and its serene surroundings. This is an exceptional opportunity to connect with nature, unwind, and reflect on the day's experiences. To conclude your day, you'll return to the riad, carrying with you the peace and stillness of the desert night.
Today is filled with an array of sessions geared to help you solidify this new wellness journey and reinforce all that we’ve learned over the past four days. Starting with Power Yoga and breakfast, we’ll kick off the morning with energy and fuel. Next up is another Body Sculpt session that will lend itself to free time and lunch.
At 2:00 pm, we’ll come back together for a Women’s Circle, followed by one last Mobility Yoga session. This gentle yet effective practice will help us release tension, enhance mobility, and cultivate a sense of inner peace and relaxation one final time.
