bio

Hi, I’m Kimberly — solo travel enthusiast, hiking addict, and storyteller at heart.
After visiting over 40 countries and living in three, I’ve learned that the best journeys aren’t just about the sights — they’re about the stories we create along the way. Whether it’s hiking through the silent tunnels of the Dolomites, stargazing in Wadi Rum, or navigating a new city solo, travel has shaped who I am and helped me heal, grow, and connect with others in ways I never imagined.

I curated this trip because I believe in travel that feels personal, empowering, and just a little bit wild — the kind that lets you say “I actually did that.” One of my wildest moments? Hiking the Alta Via 2 in the Dolomites after a year of health setbacks, and realizing just how strong I’d become.

When I travel, I’m all about soulful hikes, deep conversations, cultural experiences, and slow mornings with a view. My favorite adventures blend nature, history, and human connection — and I can’t wait to share that with you.

Let’s make memories that move us — together.

Jordan > Wadi You Waiting For? Let’s Go to Jordan with Kimberly Kephart

Lost cities hidden in rose-red cliffs, secret recipes passed down through generations, and wild desert nights under galaxies of stars – this is Jordan, and it’s calling your name to partake in an adventure of a lifetime. One moment you’re haggling for treasures in ancient souqs, the next you’re floating weightless in the Dead Sea and tearing across Wadi Rum in a 4x4, channeling your inner explorer. This girls' trip isn’t just about checking off world wonders (though you’ll do plenty of that); it’s about plunging headfirst into adventure, culture, and the kind of relaxation that makes you forget what day it is. For female travelers who crave stories worth telling and experiences you can’t find anywhere else, it’s time to answer Jordan’s call.

Details
Day 1 · April 12, 2026
Welcome to the Kingdom – arrival in Amman

-Touch down in Amman, Jordan’s dynamic capital, where ancient history and modern life blend seamlessly. A local representative will help you get through the immigration process and ensure you’re transferred to your hotel with ease.

-Once you’re settled, enjoy free time to unwind or wander the city’s vibrant streets. Amman, known as the ‘City of Seven Hills,’ is a cultural crossroads that has been continuously inhabited since the Bronze Age, offering a tantalizing preview of the adventures ahead.

Day 2 · April 13, 2026
Echoes of empires: Amman, Jerash, and the Dead Sea

-Officially kick off this adventure with a guided exploration of Amman’s treasures. Start at the hilltop Citadel, home to remnants from Roman, Byzantine, and Umayyad eras, then check out the grand Roman Theater, still a cultural hub today. You’ll also visit the Archaeological Museum, which houses artifacts spanning millennia, and explore the bustling souqs, where the city’s pulse is felt in every corner.

-Journey north to Jerash, one of the world’s best-preserved Greco-Roman cities. Walk through monumental arches, along colonnaded streets, and past ancient theaters that echo with the stories of a bygone era.

-Continue to Bait Khairat Souf for a hands-on cooking class, where local women share the flavors and traditions of Jordanian cuisine – a true cultural immersion.

-As the sun sets, descend to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, where mineral-rich waters promise relaxation and rejuvenation.

Day 3 · April 14, 2026
Peak relaxation at the Dead Sea

-Today is yours to savor the unique pleasures of the Dead Sea. Float effortlessly in its buoyant, salty waters, renowned for their healing properties, or treat yourself to a therapeutic mud bath. Whether you choose spa treatments or simple relaxation, the Dead Sea offers a tranquil retreat surrounded by dramatic landscapes.

Day 4 · April 15, 2026
Wonders of the Wadi: From Siq trails to ancient trade routes

-After breakfast, set out for adventure in Wadi Mujib, often called the Grand Canyon of Jordan. Hike the Siq Trail, a dramatic gorge where towering cliffs and rushing waters create a playground for outdoor enthusiasts. This biosphere reserve is a haven for rare wildlife and intrepid hikers alike.

-Continue to Little Petra, a hidden Nabataean site with rock-carved facades and ancient frescoes. Less crowded than Petra but equally enchanting, it offers a glimpse into the caravan routes that once connected Arabia to the Mediterranean.

-Transfer to Petra, where anticipation builds for tomorrow’s exploration of this world wonder.

Day 5 · April 16, 2026
Ancient exploration in Petra and Wadi Rum

-Step into the legendary city of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Carved into rose-hued cliffs by the Nabataeans over 2,000 years ago, Petra was a thriving crossroads of trade and culture. Marvel at the iconic Treasury, the Royal Tombs, and the ancient amphitheater as your guide reveals the city’s secrets.

-In the afternoon, journey to Wadi Rum, the Valley of the Moon, where surreal sandstone formations and endless desert vistas await.

-Settle into a luxury camp and enjoy a traditional dinner beneath a sky ablaze with stars, surrounded by the timeless silence of the desert.

Day 6 · April 17, 2026
Adventures in Wadi Rum and Crusader history in Karak

-Embark on a thrilling 4-hour jeep tour across Wadi Rum’s cinematic landscapes, tracing the paths of Bedouin tribes and explorers like T.E. Lawrence. Discover ancient petroglyphs, towering rock bridges, and hidden canyons that have inspired generations.

-Later, visit Karak Castle, a formidable Crusader fortress perched above the Wadi Mujib valley. Explore its labyrinthine corridors and learn about its pivotal role in the region’s medieval history.

-Return to Amman for a well-earned evening of relaxation.

Day 7 · April 18, 2026
Mosaics and mountaintops in Madaba and Mount Nebo

-Venture to Madaba, famed for its intricate Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. The highlight is St. George’s Church, home to the 6th-century Mosaic Map of Palestine – the oldest surviving cartographic depiction of the Holy Land, crafted from over two million colored tiles.

-Continue to Mount Nebo, where, according to tradition, Moses glimpsed the Promised Land. From this spiritual summit, enjoy panoramic views across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.

-Return to Amman for a final evening to soak up the city’s vibrant atmosphere.

Day 8 · April 19, 2026
One journey ends, another begins

-Rise and shine with a final breakfast, then transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for your onward journey. As you depart, carry with you memories of ancient wonders, desert adventures, and heartfelt encounters that define the spirit of Jordan. We hope you had an incredible time and will travel with us again soon!
