Day 2
A day to remember

-Rise and shine in The Land of the Rising Sun! Catch the 9:30 am bus and head out on a day of discovery in the world’s most populous city.

-First stop is a stroll around Chidorigafuchi Moat, a serene escape lining the Imperial Palace, dotted with sakura and other greenery.

-By lunchtime, we’ll head to the Asakusa district, where tradition and modernity intertwine. Grab a bite at one of the local spots of your choosing – you’re spoiled for choice here.

-Make your way to Sensō-ji, Tokyo’s oldest and most famous temple. The imposing Thunder Gate and incense-filled temple grounds are a treat for all of your senses.

-Wander down Nakamise Street, a bustling shopping lane lined with traditional snacks, souvenirs, and quirky keepsakes.

-Then, head over to Tokyo Skytree, the tallest structure in Japan! Whether you're snapping skyline pics or soaking up the high up views, this spot is guaranteed to leave you in awe.

-After returning to the hotel and sending off any big luggage for the next leg of the trip, it’s time to experience Tokyo’s buzzing nightlife with a group dinner at a classic Izakaya in Shinjuku. Lively vibes, small plates, and plenty of bevs await you.

-The rest of the evening is yours. Perhaps more shopping, an arcade, or a little extra shut-eye is on the horizon.

Day 3
Hey there, Hakone

-Time to check out and trade the city lights for serene mountain views! We’re hopping on a train to Hakone, a region known for its stunning landscapes and iconic views of Mount Fuji.

-Once we arrive, you'll have free time to grab lunch and gear up for an afternoon of exciting exploration.

-First up, we’ll take to the skies on the Hakone Ropeway, offering unbeatable panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, volcanic landscapes, and, if the weather cooperates, a picture-perfect shot of Mount Fuji in the distance.

-Changing elevations, we then board a relaxing cruise across Lake Ashi, where the reflection of lush hills and the famous torii gate rising from the water come together in a postcard-perfect view. Have those cameras ready!

-After a day of adventure, we’ll transfer to our accommodation and check in, taking some time to settle and unwind from our big day.

-In the evening, you’ll be treated to a scrumptious dinner at our hotel, featuring local flavors that showcase Hakone’s culinary delights.

-The evening is yours to conquer. What’ll it be – more excitement or some chill?

Day 4
Shooting over to Kyoto

-Breakfast and check out greet us this morning, because at 9:15 am, we’re onto the next spot!

-Our bus takes us to Odawara Station where you’ll board a legendary bullet train. Sit back, relax, and watch the scenery blur by as we zip to Kyoto in record time.

-Upon arrival, grab some lunch before we dive into Kyoto’s greatest, starting with Fushimi Inari Taisha. With its thousands of vibrant torii gates winding through the forested hills, this sacred shrine offers the perfect stroll through history, culture, and Insta-worthy moments.

-Next, we’ll transfer to our hotel, check in, pick our luggage up from the lobby, and have some free time to explore Kyoto’s lively streets.

-Take your pick from the city's many culinary gems for dinner (ask your guide for some insider recommendations!) and then create the Kyotoian night of your dreams.

Day 5
Temples, tranquility, and towering bamboo

-Good morning, explorer. Ready to adventure some more? We thought so.

-After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we’ll depart for our first stop of the day at Kiyomizu-dera Temple, one of Kyoto’s most iconic landmarks. Perched on a hillside with sweeping views of the city, this temple is famous for its massive wooden stage and sacred Otowa Waterfall, where visitors make wishes for love, success, and longevity. What’s your wish?

-At noon, we’ll head to Ganko, a well-known spot serving up classic Japanese flavors.

-Get ready for a change of scenery as we make our way to the Gion district, Kyoto’s famous geisha neighborhood, where cobbled streets, traditional tea houses, and wooden machiya buildings transport you to another era. Keep your eyes peeled – you might just spot a geisha or maiko gracefully making their way to an evening engagement.

-After we’ve explored, it’s back to the hotel for a night that’s all your own. Kyoto is your canvas – what night will you paint?

Day 6
Alexa, play Kyoto by Phoebe Bridgers

-Today is all the way your way. We’ll depart from the hotel in the early morning to head to Kameoka, a lush city in the woodlands where the real adventure will take place.

-If you’re feeling up for the challenge and churning rapids, sign up for an optional rafting activity and experience nature like you’ve never have before.

-In the afternoon, we’ll converge in Arashiyama where the scenic bamboo forest awaits.

-In the evening, take some time to venture out in Kyoto’s nightlife, whether that be at an energetic night life spot or going to try out a new ramen dish.

Day 7
A few more things before we go

-Today begins our journey home, but not before a few more stops to round out the trip!

-We’ll say goodbye to Kyoto and head to the vibrant city of Osaka, departing at 09:00.

-Our first stop is the iconic Osaka Castle Park, where history meets stunning landscapes. Wander through the expansive grounds and admire the impressive castle towering above.

-Next, we dive into the lively energy of Dotonbori, Osaka’s famous entertainment district. Known for its neon lights, bustling streets, and huge signs, Dotonbori is the heart of the city’s food scene. You'll have free time to grab lunch, whether you're in the mood for piping hot takoyaki, a bowl of savory okonomiyaki, or a side of last-minute souvenir shopping.

-As our journey comes to an end, you’ll make your way to Kansai International Airport (KIX) for departure via group transfer. Whether you're heading home or onto your next adventure, you'll leave Japan with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and plenty of stories to share. Safe travels!
