Koenji’s retro vibes and Shinjuku’s urban pulse

-Start your day with a journey to Koenjikita, a neighborhood famed for its bohemian flair and indie spirit. Stroll through Koenji Junjo Shotenga, a nostalgic shopping street lined with vintage stores, quirky boutiques, and hidden manga treasures — perfect for otaku enthusiasts seeking rare finds and local color.

-Pause at Ho-Senji Temple, a peaceful sanctuary that contrasts beautifully with the area’s creative buzz, offering insight into Tokyo’s spiritual heritage.

-Later, return to the city and dive into Shinjuku, where skyscrapers, arcades, and vibrant nightlife await. Shinjuku is a microcosm of Tokyo’s dynamism, blending entertainment, shopping, and the unmistakable pulse of urban Japan.

Day 3 · May 14, 2026
Old Tokyo charm: Nezu Shrine, Yanaka Ginza, and the art of tea

-Today, step back in time as you visit Nezu Shrine, one of Tokyo’s oldest and most revered Shinto shrines, renowned for its lush azalea gardens and timeless architecture. Nearby, Yanaka Ginza Street invites you to wander a charming shopping lane that survived the city’s modernization, offering a glimpse of Tokyo’s past with its traditional shops and friendly local atmosphere.

-Experience a Japanese tea ceremony — a ritual that embodies harmony, respect, and tranquility. This immersive activity not only connects you to centuries-old customs but also highlights the meticulous artistry that defines Japanese culture.
