Welcome to Costa Rica! A destination known around the world for its healing beauty and powerful spiritual properties, it's the perfect place for our retreat centered around rest, self-care, wellness, and acceptance. After landing at the airport, you'll be transferred to La Fortuna, an endlessly scenic town where local culture and pristine wilderness both thrive alongside one another. Check into your retreat center, drop off your bags, and enjoy a moment to get adjusted.
Once you've had some time to relax, we'll come together for a yoga flow session. Not only will this give you a chance to get your body in alignment with your surroundings, but you'll also be able to meet your fellow travelers and begin forging powerful bonds. Some free time will then lead us to a workshop centered around rest and restoration, encouraging you to give your entire system the time and space it needs for rejuvenation. A wonderful dinner will round out our first day in La Fortuna.
Rise gracefully with the sounds, sights, and sensations of La Fortuna surrounding you. We'll begin the day with breakfast, giving us time to reflect and find harmony, before a revive and refresh workshop. The perfect way to begin our wellness activities for the day, this workshop will fill us with energy and positivity. You'll then have some free time to yourself that you can spend however you'd like. We'll come back together in the evening for a mindfulness meditation where you can simply be present in this amazing environment. Allow your stresses to melt away and your mind to reach a state of blissful openness.
Today presents us with yet another opportunity to shed negativity and make personal progress free from judgment. Our first workshop of the day will be centered around compassion fatigue and recovery. With support from Mother Nature, you'll learn the importance of treating yourself with compassion as well as how to fully recover from fatigue and stress. Our evening session will be a guided meditation where Ginger will help ease you into a mode of mental clarity. As always, a dinner composed of healthy, natural ingredients will finish out our day.
There is nothing selfish about respecting yourself and making decisions that allow you to flourish. In fact, it's a key part of life: if you don't honor yourself, you won't be able to properly honor those around you. With this in mind, today will be focused on instilling within you a new level of self-respect. A post-breakfast workshop on setting boundaries will kick things off, showing you how to serve yourself and toss aside toxicity. Use some afternoon free time for either rest or adventure before a meditation themed around honoring yourself. Here, you'll see yourself as the divine being that you are, and you'll head into your future feeling confident and empowered.
It's the last full day of our retreat; we head home tomorrow. After a heavenly breakfast accompanied by the serene soundtrack of the rainforest, we'll have a coming home to yourself workshop. Here, you'll continue practicing self-acceptance and your identity will bloom freely. Then, before dinner, a sound meditation will help you find your center and attain a sense of total balance before heading home in the morning.
Slowly and gently, our trip comes to a close today. Enjoy one final morning listening to the soothing sounds of the rainforest before packing up your bags and heading to the airport. It's been a truly amazing time here, and you're heading home feeling refreshed and ready to continue your wellness journey on your own.
