Good morning, travelers! After a solid breakfast, we start our first adventure to the Perito Moreno Glacier area in Los Glaciares National Park. You’ll be given all the necessary equipment to safely explore this incredible structure, along with information about the area’s glaciology, history, and culture. You’ll see stellar views of the glacier’s front wall and iceberg channels, and trek across the edge of the glacier itself. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will get your blood pumping and fill your heart with excitement!
After a restful sleep, we’ll have time for breakfast and make our way to the town of El Chaltén, a small village within Los Glaciares National Park. Here, we’ll speak with our local guide about custom trekking options to personalize the next few days in this beautiful location. Decide which trek you want to complete on day four, have a stellar meal and get a good night’s sleep for another day of adventure.
Rise and shine! Eat a hearty breakfast and head to one of the most famous places to trek in the area: Laguna de los Tres. This part of Patagonia will take you to the base of Mount Chaltén where you’ll have the day to explore the granite peaks and get close to the walls of Mount Fitz Roy. On your trek, you’ll see the De las Vueltas river, the Del Salto stream, Poincenot Base Camp, Laguna de los Tres, and De los Tres Glacier. Take some pictures along the way and soak up this unforgettable experience.
