Entry conditions for international travelers<\/strong>

Iceland is open for tourism to certain types of travelers. Under most circumstances, this includes travelers from the EU<\/strong> and Schengen-associated countries<\/strong>, as well as those from Australia, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Chile, Hong Kong, Israel, Jordan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Lebanon, Macao, Moldova, Montenegro, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, the United States of America, <\/strong>and Uruguay<\/strong>.

The country has implemented several conditions that must be met for entry:

– All non-resident foreign travelers, including those vaccinated, must fill out a pre-registration form<\/a> prior to arrival.
– They must also present a negative PCR or rapid antigen test result, with tests taken no more than 72 hours before departing for Iceland.
– Unvaccinated travelers must, in addition, undergo another test upon arrival, undergo five days of self-isolation, and then take another test after the five days.

Domestic restrictions<\/strong><\/strong>

Face masks must still be worn on all public transport, including on flights and in taxis, and in retail stores and medical facilities. Observe capacity limits in shops and restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
