Day 1
Welcome to the Golden Gate City! A fabulous vacation awaits you
Wowee, you’re in San Francisco! One of America’s coolest cities - unless you’re talking about the weather - San Fran is famous for its diverse culture and bohemian spirit. It’s also home to some of the most iconic sights you’ll find in the United States, from the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz and beyond. Once you’ve made it through the airport, head to your accommodation, drop off your bags and start your vacation with aplomb! Grab a bite of whatever you fancy and head to the Palace of Fine Arts for the afternoon. One of the city’s major landmarks and a photographer’s dream, take some time to walk round the lagoon and admire the fabulous architecture as you soak up the ambience of this wonderful city.
Day 2
Take an optional tour of the city and discover the history of San Francisco
Good morning, and here’s to your first day proper in San Francisco! Today, you have the option of touring the area at your own pace or booking a full-day city bus tour where you'll see all the important landmarks in one shot. You’ll pass through six neighborhoods, covering the Fisherman’s Wharf, North Beach, Chinatown, Pacific Heights, Presidio of San Francisco, Fort Point Historic Site, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Sausalito before breaking for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll carry on to Alcatraz Island (admission ticket included) plus the Muir Woods National Monument (admission not included). Those wanting a shorter tour can check out our optional extra for up to five persons, where a private minivan will take you round the city. Phew! Now you and San Francisco are firm friends, it must be time to head into town and celebrate with a spring-break cocktail or two!
Day 3
Explore San Francisco at your own leisure
In keeping with the laid-back vibes of San Francisco, today you can explore some of the city’s highlights under your own steam. Using your visitor passport, you can head to the likes of Lombard Street - famed for its slope and hairpin bends - and get snapping with your camera. Spend some time in Chinatown and sample the fine cuisine on offer, wander round the temples and visit the museums. Or why not head to Union Square to enjoy San Francisco’s finest shopping experience? Those with a head for heights will also enjoy the city’s fabulous cable car system. However you choose to spend your day, you can be sure to have a ball in the City by the Bay!
Day 4
Time for one last trip before departure time!
Wow, where did all the time go? Today marks the end of your spring vacation, but there’s still time for one last adventure before you head home. Why not take a short hike to Pier 39 shopping complex to pick up some souvenirs or unwind on the beach at Aquatic Park Cove? Once it’s time to leave, bid your fellow travelers goodbye, head to the airport and get uploading your photos - San Fran looks forward to welcoming you again soon.
