Retreat overview and daily schedule

Based out of the gorgeous Hidden Paradise retreat in Granada, Spain, this retreat is a unique way to deepen your yoga practice & incorporate Ayurveda into your life.

The program is well thought through. It is deeply connected and linked with the 5 elements: Space (throat), Air (heart), Fire (solar plexus), Water (hips), Earth (pelvic floor). Every day we tap into another element. Each element is linked to a chakra. We will discover this energy field and will play with its qualities.

This retreat is absolutely for all yoga levels to join, but especially interesting for the ones who like creative yoga sequences and who are looking to go a bit deeper in their practice. Each day involves a strong balance between scheduled yoga and meditation as well as free time to open up your senses to your surroundings.

Morning schedule: Wake up with meditation, yoga, and a delicious breakfast

As the sun rolls over the Spanish hills, wake up in Hidden Paradise and get ready for a day of finding balance in nature. Each day begins with a morning meditation session that incorporates pranayama, allowing you to gain control of your breath and feel where your body and mind meet. It’s the perfect segue into a morning yoga session focused on making you as energized as possible. Enjoy the stunning views of Granada from the wooden shalas of Hidden Paradise as Jolijn guides you through the session. All levels are welcome! Following this, you’ll have your first meal of the day, a delicious vegan breakfast made of organic ingredients. You’ll then head straight to a workshop centered around building your yoga skills or introducing you to ayurveda, a wellness practice that directly complements yoga. You’ll finish your morning feeling awake, grounded, and ready to take on the world.

Afternoon schedule: Free time to explore, relax, or discover the beauty surrounding Hidden Paradise

Once the morning festivities are out of the way, you’re free to sink deeper into the tranquility of Hidden Paradise however you’d like. After a hand-crafted vegan lunch, relax your body in the sauna or hop in one of the 2 pools and luxuriate in the stillness of the environment. You’re also welcome to go exploring, with regular hiking tours being available to help you get a closer look at the natural wonders that define the retreat. This time is for you, so just pursue whatever will make you feel most at peace with yourself and in tune with the world.

Evening schedule: Sunset yoga and a health-focused dinner

The evening brings a change in energy as you move from free time to enjoying more yoga sessions. It begins with an hour of juicy flow yoga ahead of a dinner built with fresh and organic ingredients. You’ll then go to your last yoga session of the day to slow down the pace and get you ready for sleep. As the sun sets behind the hills of Hidden Paradise, you’ll feel cleansed and connected to the elements. Sweet dreams!

The retreat center features a sauna, 2 swimming pools, and wooden shalas for yoga sessions.
