Welcome to Madrid, Spain – a historical city with a lively party scene
Welcome to Madrid, Spain’s elegant capital city filled with stunning parks, world-renowned museums, and historic buildings. Upon arrival, drop off your bags at the hostel and walk the vibrant streets, getting lost in art and culture at every turn. Take a stroll through the Plaza Mayor or Retiro Park and start filling that camera roll! When the sun sets, meet the group at the hostel for a welcome dinner at a local tapas joint. We’ll toast to a fun adventure and kick this trip off right!
Day 2
Explore Madrid by bike on a cycling tour of the city
Good morning and welcome to your first full day in Madrid! After a stellar breakfast, we’ll explore the city on a three-hour bike tour, covering nine miles of history, art, and culture. Your guide will teach you the background of the city, share legends of the past, and show you the best places to eat along the way. You’ll see all the iconic landmarks, such as the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and Retiro Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll have plenty of time for pictures and a snack break, so get your cameras ready!
Enjoy a bar crawl through the city with new friends
After a relaxing day of biking through Madrid and a hearty dinner, we’ll head to a few of the city’s hottest bars and clubs on a bar crawl that won’t disappoint. No waiting in line on this trip, as you try new drinks, meet new friends, and dance the night away!
Day 3
Visit Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid
Wake up ready to attack the day! Enjoy a quiet breakfast after a long night out, then head to Bernabéu Stadium for a tour of Real Madrid’s home base. The guides will take you to all the best spots for social media-worthy pictures, including the field, tunnels, and locker rooms. From here, head back to the city and enjoy the rest of the day as you please.
Spend the evening playing drinking games at Beer Pong Madrid
Grab a delicious meal with the group and head to Beer Pong Madrid, a trendy complex featuring beer pong tables, bars, music, and loads of fun. Play in a tournament or just brush up on your skills while you meet people from all over the world at this local hot spot.
Day 4
Discover the sweet treats of Madrid on a segway tour
Another day in paradise starts with a great breakfast and a segway tour, stopping at important monuments along the way. We’ll see the Almudena Cathedra, Sabatini Gardens, Royal Palace, and Puerta del Sol, with time to stop and snap some photos for the gram. We’ll finish out the tour at a famous local bakery for traditional churros and hot dipping chocolate where we'll chat about the history of sweets in Madrid.
Enjoy dinner and dancing at a traditional flamenco show
No trip to Madrid is complete without a traditional flamenco show, which is where we’re headed tonight! The experience will begin with an authentic three-course Spanish meal, which will segue into a live performance by professional musicians and dancers. You’ll be overtaken by their passion as you eat dessert and sip a cocktail in this lively venue. Let the music move your heart and soul in this animated atmosphere.
Day 5
Explore the Prado Museum and have one last night on the town with the group
On our last day in Madrid, we’ll head to the Prado Museum, considered one of the greatest art museums in the world. Explore the beautiful galleries at your own pace and enjoy lunch and dinner wherever you’d like for your final meals in this majestic city. We’ll meet back up with the group when the sun sets for our farewell bar crawl, so we can enjoy one last night of cocktails and company before we head home.
