bio

Hi my name is Karen and I’m currently taking a break from my 9-5 to travel the world for a year! (or longer.. who knows).

I’ve been to over 110 countries and have done it all: solo, group, friends, family, hiking, you name it. I’ve fixed spare tires off-roading in Kyrgystan, done treat yourself skincare retreats to South Korea, and have laid by the beach sipping on a coconut in Sri Lanka.

My passion for travel is at the intersection of culture, great food, and once in a lifetime experiences. I firmly believe that when you go somewhere, you shouldn’t go somewhere simply to check off a box - you should be creating those memories you wish to tell your family about someday (i.e., auntie-lore, mom-lore, etc.!)

When you travel with me I promise we will try a little bit of everything and I ensure you there will be plenty of coffee and matcha.
