The best time to travel to Israel is during spring and autumn, between April and May, and September and October respectively. These months offer a higher chance for you to enjoy pleasantly warm temperatures that stay in the 70s in the daytime, along with comfortably cool nights.
It can be particularly hot if you travel to Israel in June, July and August, with temperatures climbing to a sweltering 89°C, though you’ll find evenings to be cooler. If you don’t mind the heat and strong sun, you’ll enjoy less crowds at attractions and popular spots.
Between the months of November and January, temperatures drop down to around 50°F, and certain parts of the country may even see the occasional snowfall. Be sure to pack plenty of layers if you plan to travel in winter.
